This store does have a wide variety of items, but the t-shirts alone are about $10 higher than anywhere else, so we did not make purchases here. Their prices are much higher than the gift shops in the Grand Canyon park itself. For instance, at the Hermit’s Rest shop, we bought a decorative wooden chicken designed and painted by Native Americans for $45. This Grand Canyon Trading Post store sells the same one for $58. That’s nearly a 22% increase in prices just outside the Grand Canyon National Park front door! Every single item in the Trading Post store was priced in a similar fashion. My son bought cool stickers inside the Park for $2.99, but the same stickers in this shop are $3.99, 25% higher. Take my advice: shop inside the Park and support our...

I will give him the benefit of the doubt (long day, doesn’t hear well...) but people of color, please take...
Read moreLiterally was just there. Walked in, saw the clerk, said hello. He just looked up at me, said nothing. Walked around the store, crossing paths and eye contact and still no hello, can I help you, nothing. Checking out, put my things on the counter, he comes around, no hello, did you find everything, nothing. I'm waiting for when I should insert my card, either the machine or the clerk and nothing. He bags everything up, hands me the bag and mubbles something. Worst customer service and the prices are very high for...
