We love Tybee however I do not recommend going on a holiday weekend. Our towels, chairs, and umbrellas were stollen when we went inside for lunch. There were about 5 rows deep of chairs & people on the beach. It was difficult to walk from the water back to the street without touching someone with our floats & beach gear. My favorite part about it is that the sand is more compacted so you’re actually able to walk the beach. I’ve been to Navarre, Pensacola, Orange Beach, Palm Beach & Gulf Shores and I always sink down in because I walk on the outsides of my feet so even though I LOVE the beach, I don’t get to enjoy it much. Multiple people were blasting their music at the same time which makes it unbearable to sit on the beach sometimes. They really should ban radios, it ruins the experience for everyone else.
