This was my worst dining out experience. It took 10-15 minutes to get our drinks plus our waiter (Jermaine) never got me the lemon for my water. After taking our orders he did not come by our table for a full hour except to refill the lemonade. Even then he did not stop and speak to us, see if we needed anything, or give us an update on our food. He stopped at every table in our section, except ours. Never made himself available to us. Every table seated after us had received their food before us, and finished it. When he finally came to the table and realized we and not gotten our food, he was not apologetic. He quickly said he would check on it and left again without offering us refills on our empty/near empty drinks. A kitchen manager came to retake our orders. We asked how long of a wait, telling him that we had to be at the airport. He told us he would ask the kitchen and get back to us. He never came back, our waiter never came to our table. We had to go to the front desk and ask the hostess to get our waiter. He came back (finally) with our food. Still no apology, or offer for a discount. We had to ask for refills. When he brought the drinks he once again just set them on the table while he was walking by and didn't say anything, never once asking how the food was or if we needed anything. My boyfriend had to wave him down twice before he came to our table. We asked for a discount. He said he'd talk to his manager, which was a lie. He had given us his 25% employee discount, which gave us less than $10 off for this whole terrible experience. It is obvious he never spoke to his manager. We expected at least one meal free for what we put up with. He gave one very shallow apology towards the end of our visit. I have worked waiting tables, his service and treatment of us was unacceptable. Jermaine was the rudest and most unhelpful server I have ever had. It felt like he treated us poorly because we were young and not drinking alcohol. We never once were rude to him, only showed him kindness, yet he took advantage of us and treated us horribly. I will never be going back. Sorry for the long...
Read moreExcellent service with fabulous menu and a hundred beers on tap! Delicious, modern comfort food made with the freshest ingredients and plentiful portions. Always top-notch service from the most competent, friendliest and nicest staff. Atmosphere is casual, relaxed, welcoming and very clean!
Quality of food & preparation are consistently good, portions are generous, and they are very accommodating for special requests. Some of our favorites are the truffle Mac & Cheese, Kurobuta burger, Vampire tacos, Lobster noodles, Parm truffle fries, Wisconsin cheese curds, Superfood salad (hope it returns!), etc - too many to list here! We live in NJ and we’ve eaten at different Yard House locations for almost 15 years (CA, FL, PA, Hawaii too) and never been disappointed. We love their consistently good food, excellent value for your money (especially Happy Hour specials on food & drink), and excellent service every time. King of Prussia might be our favorite due to the amazing, hardworking staff who are always friendly, caring, helpful and really go above & beyond!
On a recent trip for retail therapy over my birthday weekend, we had a very enjoyable lunch early afternoon (before YH gets too busy). Casey our server, bartender Hanna, and their manager (Jerry?) really went above & beyond, doing everything possible to make me feel special on my birthday. Casey & his Mgr provided a special treat for my birthday and Hanna worked her magic on my mocktail using special equipment! I was having a rough year and won't go into details, but their warm kindness, helpfulness, and extra-special care really meant A LOT (CASEY, HANNA, JERRY - THANK YOU!!! :-)
Yard House KOP: 10/10 great food, great people, and a great spot to take a break from shopping-til-you-drop at ginormous King of Prussia mall, or just relaxing at the end of day with great drinks and most scrumptious food…go and you won’t be disappointed! We really look forward to returning next time we’re...
Read moreYard House is usually my favorite place for Happy Hour. There aren't many places where you can get cheap, decent food and drinks. This time, the food was okay. The Brussels sprouts were a disappointment, probably a 3/10 this time. They were burnt, but the dipping sauce was great. The Calamari was a bit chewy, but it had good flavor. The Chicken Nachos never disappoint - always a solid choice. They, along with the sliders and fries, were good. Overall, the food quality was inconsistent this time, but Yard House is still a top choice for Happy Hour because of its drink selection and prices. Where else can you get a half-yard of beer for $10? The service was excellent across the board; my food arrived on time and efficiently. I never felt like I was waiting too long for something to eat or drink. When one of the other servers accidentally smelled my drink to figure out which was which, my original server quickly arrived, asked if I wanted another drink, and apologized for the incident. Even though I didn't think it was a big deal, it made me feel seen and acknowledged, which I really appreciated. Overall, the experience was pleasant, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. The environment itself was relaxing and enjoyable. The outside was a more relaxing environment, while the inside was louder and more energetic. The contrast between the two spaces allowed for different dining experiences depending...
