Kong Dog King of Prussia — Restaurant in Upper Merion Township

I was so excited to try the Kong Dog when I saw it in King of Prussia. I went with the potato kong dog with half mozzarella and half hot dog. I loved that you could either order with a cashier or use a kiosk to order and pay. The prices for the dogs were between $6-$7 which I felt was pretty reasonable. The drinks however were very overpriced. The dog itself was hot and fresh, but still came out pretty quickly. I loved the crunch of the potato chunks! It's was so crispy and then the melty cheese was perfect. The hot dog was also pretty good, but I think I may go with all cheese next time. My only complaint is there just wasn't a ton of flavor. Mozzarella cheese doesn't have much flavor on its own and then the potatoes were just crispy potato. I felt like it could have used something else. Terrible manager , he disrespected & pointed out my mistake and just because I tried to cancel my mistake of wanting one Korean Koran dog and accidentally ordered eight potato, I asked to cancel the order because the self checkout didn’t allow me I was distracted and didn’t pay attention.. he declined and said “why I have to give you refund it’s your mistake” I walked out with not even the one I wanted and without my $54.00 that he couldn’t refund me he is a scam and he was so disrespectful didn’t mean to help me in no way please be carful with your kids this rude man will not help out a citizen he just kept my money and the food all I got from his was disrespect any other restaurant in America would’ve helped and...

Sitting here at king of Prussia visiting from Miami flordia … I am a philadelphia native and decided to come to an outing out with my family at a place I was familiar with …after shopping I began to become hungry … wanting to try something new I went to king dog excited to try something new and hip… I was greeted with silence … curious about there selections I was greeted with stares and unfriendly hospitality … I ended up not even buying anything …no one even acknowledged me … the staff member just look at me… the line cook also came out and stared at me when I set down with my family … I felt more threaten then them … unwelcoming and unpleasant establishment to go to if your hungry .. save your 7 dollars and go...
