I haven't experienced such professional, thoughtful, and kind-hearted customer service in a very long time. I am here to promise you that it still exists!
Karen is one of the most professional and sincerely caring sales associates I've come across in many years. She honestly cares about her customers! Even customers like me living 150 miles from Collegeville on a mission to complete my Japanese Cherry Blossom (or Willow) porcelain dining set.
Karen saved the day! Corinne and Maggie are also wonderful associates! If I lived in the Collegeville area. I'd be visiting this beautiful store, staffed by an amazing team, each and every week!
The store is beautiful. It's bright and welcoming. Clean, well-organized, and neat. Just lovely!
But it comes down to the people. The amazing team, at the Collegeville World Market location, is absolutely the best! I truly hope HQ recognizes and acknowledges the employees at this specific store.
I am indebted to Karen for her professionalism and kindness. I'm still in shock by excellent customer service over the phone! I can't wait to set up my table with all of my new World Market things! More importantly I hope to meet Karen to personally thank her for her extraordinary customer service.

A man needed help with his discount, which is fine, but there were at least four cashiers in the store (not working registers) and a growing line behind me. The manager was helping the cashier and the man and when the cashier asked her manager if she should hop on another register and start checking people out the manager said to her: āNo donāt it can waitā and to the man she said ātake your time.ā Okay, thatās great for him, but I have literally been standing with my arms full for 15 minutes without an apology or even a glance at this massive line of people. Finally someone she called slowly made their way to the front and also checked me out as slowly as possible while two other employees vacantly stared. I entered the store and lingered in the entranceway admiring products and was not greeted by any of the three women at the register. At the time I thought nothing of it. I proceeded into the store and witnessed at least five groups enter right after me, within a five minute span, and greeted IMMEDIATELY with a very warm, strong welcome and offering of complimentary coffee. I was very confused and then I realized the only difference was the color of our skin.
I shared my observation with one of the women at the register, who happened to be the assistant manager, and her response with cavalier and dismissive.
I have to believe not all employees at the Collegeville, PA location are racist, however my experience today with the three ladies working were anything but good. It's a shame and so sorry they are representing...
