Ichiddo just opened yesterday so they didn't have short ribs or peach for the drinks. But there were so many other things we wanted to try, so that wasn't a problem. I think we'll be back a lot!
They made a custom boba bubbling rose lychee drink with strawberry and orange syrup. We normally don't like rose flavor but it didn't taste at all like rose (I think that is more the color). We also like it sweet so they put in 100% sugar, which you can also customize. It was so fun with the sparkling fizz and it was refreshing and fruity.
Then we had a Char Siu Pork Bun (pork belly), which was flavorful and tender! That was our favorite bun. We also had the fried chicken bun, which was also good but char siu was a little better.
We had the Chicken Kara-age, which was a little dry. The chef came out to talk with us and get feedback so hopefully he will make it less dry. He was really concerned that we were happy with our food. He offered to make another one or comp it but we were fine with it - just wanted to give feedback.
The Crab Jalapeno was so fun and delicious with the crispy fried breading and the immitation crab meat - it was inspired! That might have been our favorite! Oh but the Spicy Miso Ramen (we got it without the spicy) was soooo rich and flavorful!! We wish it had more of that rich delious broth! The char siu in it was super tender and the half cooked egg was surprisinly flavorful - I think they soaked it in soy sauce? The noodles were nice and bouncy and tasted freshly made - just like the ones we had on our trip to Tokyo!
Everything we had was excellent! Even the Kara-age had good flavor and many of the pieces were not dry and really good in the Kewpie mayo. We can't wait to go back. There are so many things we want to try! And the service was outstanding! Our server was very sweeet and friendly and kept our water filled, made sure we had enough napkins, and made sure we were happy with our food. We felt like we were in Asia again. We can't...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped by Ichiddo Ramen for a casual date night, and we were both pretty impressed with the vibe. The space used to be a pizza place, but you’d never know it. They’ve done a full renovation and gave it a clean, modern look that still feels cozy and inviting.
This was actually my first time trying ramen, so I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I ordered the teriyaki pork ramen and really enjoyed it. The flavor was more on the subtle side, and it wasn’t too spicy, which I appreciated.
My husband ordered the stir fry and fried rice, and while the portions were decent, he found the flavor a bit bland and the rice on the dry side. It felt more like a side dish than a standout entrée, especially for the price point.
We didn’t try the milk teas, but I’ve heard good things from friends, so that’s probably what I’ll go for next time.
Overall, the food was okay, not amazing, but I’m still happy that Vero Beach finally has a ramen spot! We’ll likely be back, and I’m looking forward to trying some...

Ichiddo Ramen is a solid spot for comforting Japanese cuisine, offering a variety of ramen, rice bowls, and appetizers. While their ramen is popular, I highly recommend trying the Beef Donburi and the Fried Chicken Bun.
The Beef Donburi is flavorful and satisfying, featuring tender, well-seasoned beef over a bed of warm rice, complemented by a savory sauce that ties everything together. It’s a great choice if you’re craving something hearty.
The Fried Chicken Bun is a must-try appetizer. The bun is soft and fluffy, while the crispy fried chicken inside adds a perfect crunch. The sauce and toppings elevate the flavors, making it a delicious bite before the main course.
Overall, Ichiddo Ramen delivers quality food with great flavors. Whether you’re in the mood for ramen or looking for other Japanese comfort dishes, it’s...
