My husband and I designed my engagement ring together 4 years ago with Diamonds direct. Recently we came in and decided to do a diamond upgrade.
Ashlee helped us from start to finish. She ordered several different diamonds for us to preview until we found the perfect center stone. Of course I couldn’t find a setting in the case that I wanted as is. She worked with several different designers until she found the one who could deliver my vision at a reasonable price point.
Ashlee worked closely with her Manager Mike to make sure that we were treated as valued clients, and they were so gracious for our repeat business. Ashlee did not quit until we were happy and everything was perfect. I now have the most beautiful ring, I can’t wait to watch her turn heads!
Also, they are dog friendly! What more could you want, from their generous upgrade programs, friendly staff, comprehensive showroom, and really valuing returning customers. I feel like customer value and retentions has largely fallen out of favor, but not at Diamonds direct!
On one of my recent visits to the showroom I asked for my wedding bad to be cleaned. When it came back 5 minutes later it was not only sparkling, but the jeweler Anne had noticed my white gold was yellowed a bit and took it upon herself to polish and rhodium plate my ring! It hasn't looked that beautiful in ages.
With the good also comes the bad. Due to covid there were some other staff members that had to help out at times. The one manager Marcella spoke to me not as a customer, but as if I should somehow be apologizing or feel bad for pricing that was agreed to weeks before. Pricing that I did not dictate. “This is an incredible price, I don't even know how you got this price. It’s impossible, no one should have gotten this kind of pricing.” Here I think she is calling me to have a conversation to settle on pricing for my setting and she is talking like this about my diamond. It was very off putting. Its not like I had any say in the pricing I received. Thankfully after this interaction Ashlee and Mike were able to step back in and I did not have to communicate with her any more.
All in all this was a wonderful experience and we are very happy with the product...
