Aritzia — Local services in Walnut Creek

Nice clothes, generally a bit overpriced. Staff are very clearly paid on commision and will say anything they have to in order to get a sale- even lying. Frustrated as I was interested in a garment that seemed to have a wrinkly texture- I asked the person helping me if that will come out with steaming (or if it was more like linen, which retains a slightly wrinkly look). She said yes it would come out totally smooth with steaming, and that she owned three of that item (implying she would definitely know). Well, I bought it, and the wrinkles don't come out whatsoever with steaming or even ironing the heck out of it. So... now I'm returning it. Waste of time. Also beware that they have a really strange return policy, which involves you HAVING to give your email address to them at the time of purchase- otherwise they claim they will be unable to process a return later. ...

I was really looking forward to shopping at Aritzia and finding a great pair of pants, but my experience was deeply disappointing. As a gay man, I already felt judged and unwelcome while browsing their selection, but I still decided to try on and impulsively purchase a pair of pants. Later, I realized the pants weren't the right fit and went back to do a return. Unfortunately, the manager at the counter was not helpful and refused to allow me to complete a full return. Instead, I was only offered store credit, which felt like a dismissive and frustrating resolution. The entire experience from feeling judged while shopping to being denied a proper return made me feel unwelcome and unsupported as a customer. Aritzia needs to do better in creating an inclusive and accommodating shopping environment for everyone. I will not be returning after...

The Walnut Creek Aritzia has provided the absolute WORST customer service. I ordered two pieces that didn’t work out and needed to return. I had to drive 45 minutes to take care of and was treated very poorly. The majority of the staff is extremely rude and condescending. Unfortunately this isn’t the first time I’m treated this way. Friends and family have had similar experiences. It’s clearly a pattern and feels racially motived. I will not be coming back to...
