The representatives I spoke with were unhelpful and seemed indifferent to my concerns. Despite numerous assurances that the incorrect charge would be promptly removed from my account, it still remains unresolved, leaving me worried about the potential impact on my credit history. I've spent hours on the phone, been transferred between representatives, and even visited the Macy's store in Walnut Creek seeking assistance—all to no avail. It's incredibly frustrating to receive such poor customer service, especially considering my long-standing loyalty to Macy's. Read moreSo that everyone has an updated idea on this Macy's, they are under going construction and will be done in November. With that being just a few months away go by and check out the beautiful remodel they have already done on so much of the store. On the first floor just past the Starbucks is the brand new shoe department and following are the brand new fashion and costume jewelry/watches, and handbags. They are currently remodeling their cosmetics and have temporarily placed them by the jewelry. Their second floor has received and continues to revieve quite a facelift, Michael Kors has a new home. And petits, INC, Style&Co., Accessories (hats, scarves, hosiery, etc,), and Nortface are all in the new expansion of the second floor. The staff here are for the most part really friendly and helpful. And as the seasons are changing they are having many sales. Also, there is an associate who stands by the escalator on the first floor and asks if you need to help to insure that everyone knows where they're going and answers any question you may have about Macy's and a little bit about the plaza and it's remodel. She is always smiling and really wants to help everyone find their way around. That associate is me! Please come by and check it out. Oh! Read moreI've never shopped at Macy's (maybe once before as a teen, i usually just walk through to get to the center of the Mall), so i was blown away by our experience. We were shopping online for mattresses, and after reading several reviews and comparing prices we settled on the Purple mattress. Hoping we could get it faster, we found out that Macy's sells them and drove down to check them out. First of all, it was awesome to confirm that we picked out the best mattress for ourselves and to try it out. Second, the staff was awesome- they offered us a discount and gave us the mechanical portion for free with our purchase (which ended up being TWO free mechanical twin bases because we needed a king and they could only provide twin bases). So our total for everything ended up being less than what we would've paid online for just a mattress. One downfall: while checking out, the system experienced a gliche and almost charged us for everything plus a delivery fee (which was also supposed to be free)... and we had to catch it and gently remind them of the 10% off sale, the free bases, free delivery charge. But the staff was friendly and diligent while fixing the mistake. Anyways, we're very happy so far and looking forward to sleeping on...
