Don't let the name deter you!

Needed an extra special work day lunch time treat, so searched for the nearest and best sushi place for pickup! After peeking at the menu, decided to give this place a try. Not the cheapest in price OR flavor! I was not dissappointed. I definitely spent more than I'd prefer on lunch for two rolls, but ..... I also wouldn't recommend going low quality either.

Very friendly staff, food was ready QUICK once I placed my order. I appreciated that they didn't require a credit card over the phone to order so that really expedited the process. I was able to zooooom on over, run in, pay and head back to work.

NO lunch rush whatsoever, so ... also made it a good choice for a speedy process. :P I must have caught them right at open.

The extra soy sauce they gave me was not just a few packets, but like... a littel container thing! AWESOME! It really is the little things in life :P THey also ensured I had chop sticks included, which made me very happy! (Although I have always believed that is VITAL I do find that not everywhere in Ohio assumes I will want to use them.)

ONLY downside was parking, I had to park on the street and run across the road. Luckily it wasn't a busy traffic day or time. :P

After giving this place two chances... I've decided that I won't come back. Staff don't seem to know what they are doing (although my server was very awesome!) Sushi Chefs take forever to prepare even simple California rolls. I literally was done with my bipbimbap before it was ever thought too bring out my rolls I ordered. Bipbimbap was not very good either, very bland. That was my second visit. My first visit I ordered tempura udon. Udon is usually bland anywhere you go by itself, but with tempura it is suppose to be rich with umami... unfortunately that was not the case, while the shrimp tempura was extremely crispy, it was blender than udon! No taste at all! Tempura at least in Japan is extremely tasty. Where was the salt? Where was the umami to be found in the tempura? No where. If your looking for a good meal look elsewhere. If your looking for disoriented staff, long wait times for your sushi or sashimi orders and blandness, than this is your spot! After ordering sushi for lunch today I explained to the hostess who took my order that I have a severe shellfish allergy and asked her to please communicate that to the chef and that even cross contamination can be deadly to me. She tried telling me that they had just opened and the mats were all clean so it wouldn't be a problem. I then told her that I would feel much better if she would please tell the chef. She laughed at me and proceeded to laugh while walking to the sushi bar to tell the sushi chef working that I had a severe shellfish allergy, the chef working also found this to be hilarious. So Mr. Sushi staff, if you're reading this allow me to educate you on Anaphylaxis. IT CAN AND DOES KILL PEOPLE. Your air way completely closes and you can no longer breath.
