This place is an absolute joke. My husband, our friend, myself, and my seeing-eye dog went into Bite the Fruit, and from the second we walked in, we were treated like dirt. The two staff members acted like we were some kind of nuisance just for existing in their overpriced, pathetic excuse for a store. Their attitude was disgusting — cold, rude, and dripping with unprofessionalism. The prices? Outrageous. You’d think for how insanely expensive everything was, you’d at least be treated with a shred of respect. Think again. When my husband asked about a price at checkout, the miserable excuse for a cashier decided to start yelling instead of doing his actual job. Completely unhinged and unacceptable behavior. Bite the Fruit doesn’t deserve a single customer. They don’t deserve a single dollar. Avoid this dump unless you enjoy getting ripped off and disrespected at the same time. Total embarrassment of a business.

Updating my review in response to their response: Your response only confirms the very issue I highlighted in my original review: a complete lack of accountability and respect. Rather than owning the poor treatment we experienced, you chose to frame it as a misunderstanding or a matter of “different recollections.” I know what happened. My husband, our friend, and I — along with my service dog — were treated dismissively and rudely from the moment we entered your store. An apology that questions the validity of a customer’s experience isn’t an apology at all. Bringing up your store cats or high rent doesn’t excuse unprofessional behavior. Customers don’t come into your store expecting to justify your pricing — they come expecting to be treated with basic decency, which we were not. Dismissing my feedback with a copy-and-paste response only further shows how little you care about genuine customer service. I stand by my review: no one should waste their time, energy, or money...

Do not waste your money by buying from this store. Everything is very expensive and almost twice the price of online sales. Very very unprofessional and rude sellers. Be very careful. They have no return. It's the most ridiculous place you can buy anything from.

In response to your comment: What was very unpleasant for me was your rude and unprofessional attitude. I bought a popper yesterday and then realized it was very expensive. Today, I came and asked to return it (because I had not used it and it was not opened), and you said that you do not accept returns. And you said it was written in the purchase receipt. It would have been better to have given this notice at the time of purchase or to put this information in front of the buyer's eyes with a large sign and writing, instead of stating this at the bottom of the purchase receipt very small and illegible after the purchase. I've never seen a store that doesn't...

Purposely deceptive practices, when displaying sale items. I heard the older man, NOT gentleman tell a young couple that everything on a rack was included in the sale. This was after they mentioned that many items had no blue dot. They didnt buy anything, but I attempted to. Unfortunately for them, I noticed that I didnt receive the discount. When I confronted the jerk, as to why he was lying about the sale area, he said that he told us "this area", making a ridiculous gesture, that implied only the very center of the rack was included. That was the only area with blue dots, but there is no doubt that he was being deceptive. I have been going a few times per year, since I moved to the area. Never again. Now, they tried to buy off my bad review, by offering me the discount. No way. They arent sorry about their deception. They are only sorry that I called them on it. Wouldnt go back,...
