Taking this stop every day for two years now, there is a almost always a broken or under repair escalator to enter the station from street level. For this first set there are three escalators and one set of stairs, as well as an escalator located at the corner. When the going down escalator is broken there is never any signage. Once at the mezzanine there are two escalators to go from the mezzanine to the platform (as well as another elevator).
The two escalators (one up and one down) from the platform to the mezzanine cause a large bottle neck which frankly is a safety issue as well. Otherwise the station at least has some heat in the winter and AC in the summer which is better than some other stations.
For interactions with the metro employees, it has been mixed. Once a station manager went above and beyond when myself and another passenger reported a drunk man harassing passagers down below.
