
I stopped by Madison Street Books for the first time this past Saturday and was so impressed by the whole experience. The space is cozy and beautifully arranged, with a really thoughtful selection of books. It's clearly an LGBTQ+ friendly store— I immediately felt comfortable and seen. I ended up picking up a copy of “Gender Euphoria”, which I was so happy to find on their shelves. They also had many beautiful accessories, I even found a tote bag that brought back great memories—it felt like the perfect little treasure! Read moreWe are so lucky to have this neighborhood bookstore. The staff is so helpful - I rely on them for book recommendations as gifts and they always nail it. They curated a great 8 books of Hanukkah list for my mother-in-law - such a wonderful and thoughtful gift! I’ll be doing a similar quarterly gift for my parents for upcoming birthdays. Recommendations are scattered throughout the store on the shelves so if you aren't sure about your purchase you can read the handwritten book reviews by people in the area. If you have a specific book in mind you can go to their website to check if it's in stock and ask someone to help you find it. Their website has always been accurate in my experience and they have a very vast children's book...
