My bf surprised me with this couple massage. I had no clue where we were going or had a chance to look at reviews before hand like I do everywhere we go. You first start in the baths we had no bubbles like on the TikToks (how he found the place) we got a glass of Rose (good add) and the āsnacksā are just raisins, a mini muffin & chocolate covered almonds. The bath itself was unique because weāve never done that before. I like how they gave us time to ourselves in the room to be in each otherās presence while in the tub. The plastic was annoying but I understand why they use it. Nothing felt rushed. The facial to me wasnāt nothing special. He said her lady rubbed his face good. I didnāt have much pressure for the facial which sucks bc I suffer from migraines so if my temples were rubbed. The head scalp part felt good and wish it was longer. Now going into the massage⦠my lady asked what I would like her to focus on - I said neck and feet. She did really good but I donāt feel like my feet or neck got the most TLC maybe she heard me wrong. I didnāt take off stars for this but I do wish she focused on those areas more. It was one of the best massages I ever had. My bf end up falling asleep during his. Haha. I picked this spa (and drove over 2 hours) in particular because so many people commented on the deep pressure they received during their treatment; however, that is not what me, nor my friend experienced during our couples massage even after putting we wanted āfirm/deep pressureā on our intake form - it should be noted, neither of our massage therapists asked about our pressure or checked in if it was too soft or hard during the entire treatment.
The reviews stating that the therapist got on the table with you are correct but it unfortunately added little to no increase in pressure and made for just an awkward feeling almost like a toddler was climbing on your back to play.
I have a feeling that in order to have the best experience at this spa you would be better off booking one of their packages (the meet or the cloud) as that at least offers a unique spa day. However, for just the massage, we left disappointed.
That being said, the space is beautiful and the receptionist was lovely. I did still tip well because I do think that the techs were trying their best (itās hard to give a lot of pressure to a plus size customer when you are so tiny); however, I will unfortunately not return as it has only been a few hours after treatment and it doesnāt even feel like we had massages today as none of our tension/knots...

She said that the old manager actually quit the day when my appointment was cancelled and thereās no way for her to find out what happened. She offered another chance to get my massage at a discount. I texted her to schedule my appointment (Thai Yoga) and received a standard massage when I went to my appointment. The spa is very lovely and has great ambience. It was a nice massage as well but itās very unfortunate that I did not receive a Thai yoga massage. The new manager followed up the next day via text, I told her that it was a lovely massage but I didnāt receive what I booked for. I havenāt heard back in a couple of days. Maybe MEET SPA and I are just not meant to be with these mishaps.
