Back in June, Keona R. showed me a property and I put in the application and paid the fees on the same day due to the competitiveness of the rental market. I anxiously waited for a week and didn't hear back. When I emailed her for an update, however, the property management gave it to another applicant because Keona never sent in my paperwork. I was absolutely furious and called the leasing office (in tears.) She of course tried to blame it on them, but she never responded to their emails. I forwarded my email exchange with the leasing office to Keona demanding an explanation for why my application was not submitted in a timely fashion, and that I wasted precious time waiting for an update when I could have been looking at other properties, as I was running out of time before my lease was up. She did not respond to my email or even offer an apology for the colossal amount of stress this placed on me and my household. The housing/rental market is in shambles and it is incredibly cut throat out there. You have to make decisions fast and even then you are competing with everyone else. You have to take time off work to schedule showings. If someone applies literally a minute before you, you're out of luck. So for Keona to completely drop the ball was highly disappointing and beyond unprofessional.
The leasing office apologized profusely for Keona's lack of care and followup, and as a good gesture showed me another property that was not made public yet. I applied for that and was approved, fortunately. However, the one and only reason I was able to find a place to live and a roof over my head was because no one else got to see it, and no...
Read moreKatherine Hall has been an absolutely fantastic realtor, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Her patience throughout my apartment search was truly remarkable. She never rushed me, always took the time to answer my many questions, and genuinely made me feel like a priority. Beyond her incredible patience, Katherine is exceptionally knowledgeable. She demonstrated a deep understanding of the rental market and was able to provide invaluable insights into different neighborhoods and property types. What truly sets her apart, however, is her dedication to educating her clients. She didn't just show me apartments; she taught me what to look for, pointing out crucial details about building quality, lease terms, and even potential red flags that I, as a first-time renter in Chicago would never have noticed on my own. This guidance was empowering and made me feel much more confident in my decisions. Thanks to Katherine, I not only found the perfect apartment but also gained a valuable education that will serve me well in future rentals. She is a true professional who goes...
Read moreAfter spenidng months with my roommate independtly seeking housing through every major online website with 0 leads, we stumbled upon Fulton Grace. After one conversation with the kindest and realest, Hans Fleischmann, I knew we were in great hands.
As transplants and two young women, he not only gave us advice and recommendations about the city, he was sure to make us feel like we were safe and supported.
Not only that, he was transparent and clear from the jump, no fluff, which was appreciated since not only is the city foreign to us, but working with a realty group like Fulton was not something we were fluent in.
He even did video tours for all 5 of our favorite places since we were out of state - asked the necessary questions and gave us his honest opinions of the spaces while still leaving room for us to decide on our own.
Every single option he sent us was everything we wanted and then some. Now we are in the city, in our dream home, and it could not have gone more smoothly. 10/10...
