They do have a few that are terrible but I enjoy working with the others and this is the only shop I go to or would consider going to! New review is 5 Stars up from 1Star))))) Very competitive pricing and in most cases great offerings for pawnabdbe Originally I had a great experience with a female staff member and pawned a high end hand gun. I let her know I’d pick it up forsure but may be a few days late. Pus it was going to be near the holiday weekend and I made the mistake to not ask about there holiday hours, or if they stayed the same. I also let her know I’d be in the hospital for a few days and would make sure to be in but if possible I’d just like to prevent having too pay an extension for just a few day. She assured me that shouldn’t be a problem and asked me to write a positive google review. I wrote the review as she cashed me out and I left. When I returned to collect my item I was greeted by a male staff member that can only be explained as JO cool. I explained to him the situation and he just sat an smirked, before I finished he asked me if I was done? I let him know that I even called a few days prior to confirm everything and let them know when I’d be in. The employee that I spoke with was female, very nice but seemed rushed. She let me know she would hold my loan off till then and confirmed the original pickup cost of $1100 and then hung up before I could respond. So Jo cool pulled out his phone made a comment to the other employee behind the counter and began to what I would call do his best to belittle me. As he blurted out things on the phone that I didn’t say the other employee stated making a call as well as he jokingly asked me the woman’s ethnicity in an unprofessional manner, “ was she White or Mexican”? All this too prove me wrong I was soo blown away at this point I refused to answer and said either you can help me or not? Stating “did you tell a customer he didn’t have to pay anything for being late?” was yelled behind the counter. Not once did these words come out of my mouth, I then asked them to stop and said could we speak to a manager? No complete response to that so I said please, either you can help me or you cannot? So with a giggle he responded “how would we keep the light on if we did that?”. My response was look I have $1160 an that’s all I have, my loans was roughly 6 days late and then there was the Thanksgiving holiday closure. This made it soo I would not be able get my item back if he wouldn’t except my money. I told him this but he didn’t care. So I reluctantly gave him the $100 dollars to extend it as he called me an “asshole” and something else I’d rather not say but I responded it’s hard to pay $100 dollars for 6 days roughly when I had $60 and the full $1100. Now in my eyes that was a doable transaction. I have since lost my firearm and am almost a month late. What I dint think he needed to know is I’m on medical leave with severe health problems, have been hit by a distracted driver, as well as a truck roll over in the past 15 months. I have had 2 shoulder surgeries and my bicep reattached, and am awaiting vascular surgeries in my leg. What a wonderful experience, an in the mean time I was at Easy pawn to buy a cheap tool and they were in the process of helping a woman do exactly what I had asked to keep her from losing her jewelry. She paid a reasonable amount for the few days and the loan in full then left with...

Not gonna lie, at first when my friend told me about this pawn shop, I was a bit skeptical, seeing as pawn shops get quite a bad rap for how they do business, but after coming here myself, I have to say that I was quite impressed...! The customer service is always great, always greeted with a warm welcome, regardless of the day. I really love how these guys are open 7 days a week, and literally from 9 am - 9 pm! That’s amazing!! Usually when 5 pm rolls around on any other day, I’ve lost hope to make it to just about any pawn shop, but not with these guys, I’m always confident that if I’m tight with money on any given day, I know that at least I have until 9 pm at night to make it to these guys to pawn or sell something for some quick cash:) it’s just reassuring to know! Now, when it comes to business, they definitely work with you! I mean, obviously it’s a business and they have to make some sort of profit, but it isn’t so heart breakingly ridiculous of price gap when it comes to buying, or pawning your things. If you really feel that it’s unfair, let them know, and I promise they will do their best to meet you halfway to a point where you aren’t leaving unsatisfied. Just about almost every time (if not every time) they always give me a great deal on the items I pawn and i leave a happy customer with cold hard cash! And when the time comes where I have to either pay or surrender the items I’ve pawned, if you give them a call before that time, they will work with you and give you more time! Because they know that life happens and sometimes you need an extension on your pawned items!! Over all, these guys are great, and of all the times I’ve visited and done business with these guys, they always deliver. Thank you big dog pawn for being the best pawn shop I’ve ever been too!

Not quite sure how everyone has had such good experiences here except my family? My husband and I have gone in multiple times with valuable items, desperate for help to get us through until payday, only to be turned away not just once, but EVERY SINGLE TIME. There were times we would have taken a measly $20, but every time we have been greeted with nothing but irritation and have been immediately turned away. I don't know if it's a discrimination type of deal because my husband and I are both plus size individuals? Or because my husband has super long hair, and that makes them uncomfortable?... But every time we have gone in, we have been treated like scum of the earth/junkies looking for drug money. Most of the time they have not even attempted to appraise our items, and we were told they "aren't in season." (Summer isn't even over yet, but they wouldn't even take a second look at our $500 Lawn Mower or offer to sit on it for even $25 for gas until payday?...) Needless to say, I have left this store every single time in tears, and have given up on ever coming back and trying. I think they realize that the people often utilizing a pawn shop are there because they need help and have run out of options and they are taking MASSIVE advantage of that. It's insane to me that actual junkies can go in and Pawn their stolen items WEEKLY, but my husband and I, (a legitimate struggling couple just trying to exist in this scary world) can't get any help, let alone a decent interaction.
