Normally I love sushi burritos I’ve been going there for years. This is the only bad experience I’ve ever had. They need to be clear of what’s fried and what isn’t my fiancé has an allergy to wheat we even said this when we ordered the food. When we got home we realized there was something fried in the burrito. That didn’t state that it has anything fried in it. When we called to ask them why something fried was put in there the person at the front desk kept telling us to contact DoorDash even though I said we didn’t order through DoorDash. Keep asking if we wanted to place an order. Almost seeming like she was playing dumb so that I didn’t continue trying to fix the issue. The one on 800 south takes things very serious isn’t rude to you when you call when they didn’t state something that is an allergy. Need less to say I would definitely go to different locations if I were you. Thanks for ruining my valentines surprise. Hopefully we can save someone who has celiacs from making the...
Read moreNagoya used to be my favorite sushi place. I haven't been there for a long time, but i went there today. They changed their quality and a lot of ingredients. Wasabi doesn't taste like wasabi, they went to the cheap soy sauce. Their burritos are like half the size they used to be and half of the burritos were just rice. The food didn't taste good. They changed their ham fried rice. It tasted so bland and they used to have big juicy ham chunks and peas and corn in it. The staff was wonderful and very nice, but they changed too much (food wise). Their prices have stayed the same, which is nice, but if they had to cut costs due to the tough economy right now, i wish they would have done less and raised their prices to maintain the quality a bit. I feel bad about leaving this review, but I was just honestly surprised at how the food tasted. Was it bought...
Read moreI went to Nagoya on a Friday afternoon. This is a small hole in the wall spot in a strip mall off Redwood road.
My sushi burrito (the Weekend burrito) was pretty good! The inside contents tasted fresh and it was a good temperature. My spicy salmon roll was ok, not spicy at all and kinda flavorless.
It took 35 minutes for those 2 items to be done. I'm not sure if I was there during a rush? But that's quite a while. The atmosphere was decent, it didn't seem very clean or organized. It was also almost impossible to hear the cashier due to the thick plastic/glass screen they have around the cooking area.
This place scratched my itch for sushi on the go, but I would not recommend this for a dinner or a celebration event. It's a nice grab and go place, but wouldn't be my first recommendation. I wouldn't go out of my...
