The only reason why this is getting 3 stars instead of 1 is because Amanda was very friendly, greeted me/offered assistance right away, professional, and very helpful.. On the 13th I purchased 3 bras from a LB in California totaling $200, fast forward to the night of the 17th, an ad pops up on my FB for LB advertising those same bras bogo for $15 (just my luck). Now I can't make it in time before this particular store closes to see if they'll help me, and I have a flight back home on the 18th. So I comment about it, and how I could have bought 6 bras in total for basically $50 more, a LB rep on FB explains to me that I can bring in my receipt to any location and they'll take care of me (SWEET)! I head to this location on the 18th, Amanda helps me, but isn't quite sure of a few things so she asks Danielle for help. Danielle tells me these bras aren't included in the sale, so I pull up the online ad and show that they are. I then pull up my conversation with the rep from FB, Danielle finally ends up approving followed by her snarky comment "we'll do it this one time, but we won't do this for you again, it's not how are policy works, we don't do this if your purchase was before our sale even starts". I mean I get it, but I talked to a rep from LB otherwise I wouldn't have even bothered coming in the first place, she could have handled it better she didn't need to talk to me that way or drag it out! I leave the store and get on FB to ask the rep if it mattered that I had purchased the bras on the 13th (4 days prior to the sale), they responded that the price adjustment was within the 14 days so you should be good to go. So maybe this manager Danielle needs some customer service training courses, and an update on LB...
Read moreThe quality of this corporation LAME Bryant has gone downhill so much for the qualityin produst and associatesknowledge. My bras constantly are breaki. Constantly am getting wrong sizes when asking to be sized by the lane bryant associates. Lane bryant has taught their associates to size for bras. I went in and just lost weight I told the girl I would like a smaller cup. She resized me. I was originally 42 band size and cup g. She told me I was now a band size 44 but could go down a cup to F. So my Bras are now fitting improper because the band size that she told me. It was wasn't correct and now I have to suffer to keep these bras because the associates are wrongly resizing people's bras. Instead having them buy the bras taking the tags off and now you Can't return it even though the employees sized you wrong?! and you told them over and over again that you were already a 42G! How do you go up a band size?! I said I lost weight, the associate I'd try to speak with over the phone, Zoe, could not understand the band size is what I was talking about not the cup size! Instead of listening to me, the customer, Zoe argued with me about the band size and it being what it was supposed to be because I went down in a cup, which makes no sense. How do you gain band size when you'relppsing weight? I said the band size doesn't fit me. That means they sized me wrong. But I still can't return my bras. What a horrible...
Read moreEDIT: I'm revising my rating because it's not fair for me to ding this particular store just because I'm frustrated with the company. So, my rating for customer service (in the past) is a 5. My opinion of the company is a 2 or 3.
ORIGINAL POST * * * The prices have gone insanely high. I realize it's a specialty size store, but come on! I think they know they've got you trapped as far as needing plus size clothing. Lately, I also haven't found clothing I like (although this could just be the weird state of fashion these days.) About the only thing I buy anymore are panties when they go on an extreme sale. $30+ for a basic white T-shirt? Basic pants that are over $100? Even if I do see something cute, 99% of the time I put it right back when I see the price tag. Even the prices on their clearance rack are still too high for what the item is. I'm extremely disappointed they've priced me out of shopping there. The other thing I find frustrating is how much of their clothing doesn't accommodate a bra. Hello, you're a plus-size store, it should be obvious that plus-size ladies almost always need a bra! Yes, I know strapless bras exist, but they are expensive and, honestly, how many of us big breasted ladies really feel secure in a strapless bra? I've almost given up on shopping at...
