My friend is trans and, with few supportive people in her life, wasn't sure how to size dress clothes. We came to Maurices to try things on and at first she was incredibly uncomfortable and felt like she didn't belong. But! When we went to try on the things we found Terry (not sure how it spelled) was incredibly friendly, down-to-earth, and helpful. She helped us find exactly what my friend could wear to compliment her body and help her look fine and feminine. First off, this is a clothing store for women. There are tons of styles, sizes, and colors. They offer jewelry and some shoes to accompany the many outfits that you can come up with here. There are several fitting rooms and very helpful, friendly staff. My wife and sisters-in-law love this place! The clothing is cute, stylish, and affordable. They have a plus size section as well. Parking is free and close by. Wheelchair accessible parking and an entrance is also available. The staff was fun and helpful and we had a fun shopping experience. My girl is a beautiful woman with some thick thighs and this was one of the very few places we could find some jeans complimentary to some curves. They had a great selection, some fun seasonal things and a couple of really good sales. We found a couple pairs of quality jeans (that weren’t just made out of stretch-plastic-poly blends that only last a few months) that will last for a good long time and a really cute jacket.
