Editing my review to 5 stars after having been there twice since our first terrible experience. My wife spoke to the manager Kevin after our initial very bad experience, and he gave us gift cards to compensate and try them again. I have to admit, I was reluctant even with it being free, but I am so glad we tried them again. We went about 2 weeks ago and again tonight, both times were like night and day compared to our first experience. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The server we had the first time wasn't even there anymore either time we came back, I'm guessing she had complaints before and ours was the final straw. It was so good tonight I asked the manager to compliment the chef for me, my prime rib was on point and SO juicy. Perfection on a plate. I'm going to leave my initial review up for people to read of our first experience still, but I was so impressed I just changed my review from 1 to 5 stars!
Absolutely terrible and complete waste of money. The highlight of the meal was the bread, it was fresh and very good. Straight out of the gate, the drinks were terrible. I ordered a coke, which tasted mostly like seltzer water because they are being stingy with the syrup/water ratio, and my wife ordered a strawberry lemonade which tasted like flavored water. It was so bad she switched out to raspberry tea, which was also extremely weak. It took so long to get the replacement drink, we had our meals for several minutes before the server brought the replacement. When she finally did she saw my coke was empty and said she would get a refill. I was without a drink for literally 2/3 of my meal because our server was more interested in talking with her co-workers than doing her job. My wife ordered the strawberry salad. It was definitely made up hours ahead of time and probably just had the chicken and strawberry added before serving. The lettuce was wilted and brown. There was only maybe 1 large strawberry cut up in it, and not even a tablespoon of goat cheese along with very little dressing. The chicken was way overcooked and dried out. She only got through 1/3 of it when she said she just couldn't eat anymore because if just wasn't good at all. I got the prime rib and shrimp special. Right away, you could see the meat had zero juice. Clearly it had been pre-cook and just re-heated. Fortunately, it was seasoned well and being such a good piece of meat it still had good taste and I mostly enjoyed it, but it could have been so much better had it been juicy. The shrimp were good, no issues there other than there only being 4 in a $30 meal. In short, they are basically being as stingy as absolutely possible, and we will not be back. Complete waste of $65, we will stick to Texas Roadhouse where it's cheaper...
Read moreThis is a chain that I think might be getting hit with shipping issues therefore creating stock issues plus qualified staff. My family and I used to really enjoy coming here. It was a place to get a great steak! Their sides were top notch. The only good thing about our meal was the blooming onion. I originally ordered the prime rib but they were sold out...at 6pm on a Tuesday. So instead, I ordered the sirloin topped with garlic mushrooms. What I got was a tasteless steak with a bowl of canned mushrooms in some kind of murky water. I also ordered their top shelf margarita ( the most expensive one). What I received was 3/4 of a glass of ice, 1/4 ( I know this because I removed all of the ice) generic margarita mix and I doubt even an ounce of Jose cuervo. I KNOW and love a great margarita and this by far was a massive let down. I genuinely fought every urge to go to the bar and offer my assistance in making a proper margarita. There is no way that drink was made by an actual bartender. My mom picked through her meal as well. We were disappointed all around because this was supposed to be our joint birthday meal. Our waitress was nice and as I looked around the restaurant, it was clear that they were very understaffed. I didn't want to be the customer who complained about the entire meal. So I kept quiet. I do feel an honest review was appropriate though. Customers old and new, deserve to know what they are now going to get when they go to this particular Outback Steak House. It was truly a disappointment. An expensive...
Read moreVery disappointing! I have eaten at other locations and was never very impressed. My husband and I decided to give this location a try. First, it took way too long for a wait person to get our drink order. As a matter of fact, when she finally came to our table, she asked if we were ready to put in our entire order. That indicates to me that she knew she had waited too long to come to our table. When she brought our drinks, mine was wrong. Husband and I ordered the same thing, how do you get one right and one wrong. Next thing we find a two inch piece of hard plastic floating in my glass! I brought it to the waitress's attention and all she said was that she would get another glass. No apology, no removing it from the bill. The only positive to the food was the cheese fries and the salad. We finally received our meal and I cant even believe that I accepted my steak. I should have sent it back. I asked for it to be cooked medium which according to their menu is hot pink center. The outside of the steak was charred to a crisp. It was very tough to cut. The inside was red and ridiculously bloody! There was so much blood on my plate after a few bites that it looked like I murdered the cow! I could have seen past that if the flavor was good but nope. I don't think they even put salt and pepper on it, much less any steak seasoning. It was extremely disappointing! Needless to say, hubby and I will never again be eating...
