I live two hours away, so I was really excited to learn that this shop has online ordering and will ship to your house. Plus all of the product photos they show online are so helpful when shopping! I found all of my German food favorites and excitedly placed an order. A few minutes later, I received a phone call from the owner because I ordered 10 of a certain item and they only had 8 in stock. The owner was super nice, apologized for the mix up, and allowed me to easily exchange for 2 of another product instead. My order was placed on a Thursday (with basic shipping) and my package was on my doorstep the next day! There was even a pack of Haribo gummies included right on top that weren’t part of my actual order but was such a sweet touch. While I understand that covid has closed or slowed many small businesses ,it’s not good business to pass losses to consumers. Visited there on December 2nd 2021 and spent a lot of money trusting the merchandise was good. Upon arrival home I found that most items had long since expired ,some as much as 18 months ago, namely June 2020. Expired merchandise is supposed to be labeled and marked down or taken off the shelves . While I will still be using the expired spices things like mayonnaise and mustard I won’t use.
