Dead Center Vintage — Local services in Wichita

Dead Center Vintage is great! I spent a few hours in here looking around and chatting with the charming man behind the counter. There are so many interesting and pretty things in here. We mostly talked about basketball. There is a large variety of clothes, many cool options. He had some pretty whacky basketball opinions. There are also some neat trinkets and knick-knacks, I found a great keychain and a pretty, colorful towel. He told me that he thinks Brandon Ingram is as good as Khris Middleton?? Awesome and fun environment! I think he was a Trailblazers fan. They also do a community refrigerator and pantry which is awesome! The guy behind the counter also showed me some videos on his phone and made some jokes. The decor and the ambiance are perfect. We’re going to a Wind Surge game tonight.

Been in a few times, very relaxed laid back store. More of a lower tier vintage selection not very many big priced vintage pieces, but after looking at their Instagram they drop them at certain times so if you’re looking for more sought after stuff they’ll only have it so many times a month. (Which is understandable the stock is probably thrifts and there’s only so much you can find in kansas) I see a lot of reviews about over pricing but being an eBay addict for vintage clothing I can confirm they price them fairly and the convenience of being able to try the clothes on unlike most vintage stores is worth the couple extra dollars. Overall great store would love to see them implement a buy sell trade in their store could help widen inventory with more sought out items and get some more networking with the vintage culture...

I am a native to ICT. Saw DCV on Instagram & wanted to share a promising "back in the day" experience in clothing with my 2 youngest daughters. The store has been thoughtfully executed. Shopping was easy. Prices were about average for curated merch. My ONLY gripe is a reflection of my age & experience as a business owner; STAFF! The guy at the register was devoid of any personality. He took my CC & offered ZERO in the way of customer service. My own staff go beyond with my customers (Big Air Waketowers). Otherwise, FCV could be one of the Brightest Spots for Old Town ICT! Please do not tell me that "hands off" is a revenue booster. ...
