Handicapped Friendly. Family Friendly. So Fun!
I’ve only been there once so I was SO EXCITED! Wimberley definitely didn’t disappoint! It’s like a cute little village & all the villagers are having a yard sale 😂🙌🏽
My Grandma uses a wheelchair so I was happy to see some of the little shops had ramps! The bathroom is a tight fit so beware of that. Also it can get very rocky & hilly very quick so beware of that. My Grandmas wheelchair has a seatbelt so we were fine with off roading every now and then 😂
We didn’t eat there except the kettle corn which was delicious. And the vendors are all so sweet! You can definitely find cute vintage stuff here for those who love thrift shopping. There are a lot of great deals but there are also some super pricey stuff so keep in mind that just because it’s set up like a flea market, doesn’t necessarily mean everyone will be dirt cheap with their prices (Which is what I was looking forward to lol) But we did find really great deals tho! We found a beautiful barley used Jean Jacket with Tassels for only $20! & some Himalayan crystal Candel holders for only $5 each 😍. So it really depends on the vendor of course.
I loved this place so much I wish it was open every weekend 😭 Def coming back with...
Read moreI had heard about Wimberley Market Days from my aunt and since I go to school in Austin I was quite excited to go. I planned a day trip for a few friends so we could relax and go shop around before going back to Austin!
I think I hyped up Wimberley Market too much in my head, it was a lot different than what I expected it to be, but that didn't mean it was bad. The items being sold were just different than what I thought I would be able to find.
Overall, the booths were very cute and vintage, I felt like I was thrifting the whole time. There were some booths that just had extremely random items, but that's part of the whole fun of a Market Day!
There were quite a few things that I saw that I would've loved to buy for photo shoot props but it seemed illogical for me to buy those things just for them to gather dust in my room...
I enjoyed my time at Wimberley Market Days and would come back with the correct...
Read moreWow, a bit overwhelming. Starting with the parking situation, plan to arrive well ahead of opening time or wait until just after lunch. Be sure to get a map of the market - I kept getting turned around! Unless you have the sense of direction of a military scout and the memory of an elephant, it's best to buy an item when you see it and not think you'll "get back to it". If you like to browse and see everything, plan on spending a whole day. There is everything here from garage sale style booths to homemade goods to antiques and collectibles to high-end boutique (clothing and home decor) shops. Clean restrooms and fair-style food stands are available. We had lunch at one for $10 each and listened to live music. If you're into junking, picking, antiquing, or boutique shopping you'll have plenty to...
