I’m very disappointed in my stylist Rosalind and the two attempts to do my hair properly. I set an appointment 8/8 to get a 4 braids with fishtail which cost over $150. Before setting my appointment, I contacted the stylist to confirm she can do the style & what hair she needed. Her response was “yes and braiding hair”. She was struggling just to do the braids and showed issues with the hair that she told me to get. Finally, without letting me know, she finished the job and gave me a regular braid without asking me what I wanted when she couldn’t do the fishtail. She did not give me a mirror to look at my hair and it wasn’t until I pulled the braid to the front that I was able to see I didn’t get what I wanted. She put a small rubber band at the bottom with no way of securing the hair and the quality was terrible. I said to her, “I see you couldn’t do a fishtail huh” and she gave me all kind of excuses, including blaming me for the hair that I bought and the quality of my own hair. She immediately started on another person hair and because I had somewhere to be that Friday I didn’t want to make a fuss and was going to make it work for the evening. However, by the time I made it home, the entire braid was a loose, see example pic of what I asked for and 2nd pic of what I got. I contacted her immediately and requested she contact me so we can talk. We came to the agreement that she would redo my hair, I made it clear that I did not want to get that style again because I was disappointed last time so we agreed to retouch of color and silk press (of equal or lesser value). Upon arriving for the style redo on 08/15, I advised her that I only needed her to retouch the color, wash and blow dry and no silk press was needed. She completed my hair and it was horrible compared to previous retouches that she’s done. I let her know that she did a terrible job both times and that I was done with her services. I felt like she didn’t do a good job because she was pissed that she had to redo my hair in the first place see pics, 3rd & 4th pic was previous color retouches with silk press and the rest are the disaster color retouch...

Rosalind had been my hair stylist for every major event I have had. However, my recent experience was horrible. There was a lack of communication regarding my style and she did not give me the style I requested. During the miscommunication she proceeded to argue with me about it in front of other clients while in a tight space. One of her friends also insulted me regarding my child while i was there. She refused to respond when I contacted her about fixing my hair, and for this reason I have terminated the business relationship all together. I do, however wish...
