Ridley's Family Markets — Local services in Winnemucca

This morning, I went into Ridleys in Winnemucca, just to use their coin star machine, I'm a disabled Vet, who lost all of his cervical vertebra and now has to live with a 3 1/2 million dollar holding post connecting my head to my spine. I've been going to this store for over a year, and I have to tell you, this was the worst experience I've ever had in a store. I can't stand for more then 15 to 20 minutes, and figured it wouldn't take that long, if I do t walk at all, I'll lose.the ability all together, I've walked over a year longer then anyone had given me. Since coinstar has to be cashed out at customer service, someone called the manager to help me. After 15 minutes, and 3 attempts to get him, I was done. I threw the ticket on the counter and walked out. Yes I was vocal about their service, the manager came out, and instead of appoliging, started arguing with me that he was finishing a truck, and had also been watching me on the camera as I got more and more impatient, and was hurting all down my spine, and never did anything but belittle and berate me. How can you unload a truck, and watch me on camera at the same time? I called the number that was sent, and was told this would be reviewed. I went in because I have co triled medication that I have no choice to get there till end of next month. Well while I'mwaiting, I'll dress in full dress blues, complete with 3 purple hearts, a Bronze star and a Silver star, holding a sign that tells everyone exactly what to expect from Management in the Winnemucca store. Some won't pay attention, only because they dont understand, but I do know I do have appreciation and respect in most stores, this one could care less, this is...

I haven't been here more than 2 or 3 times but every time has always been quite an awe inspiring experience. Sounds crazy I know. From the looks of it this place seems to be a simple hoehum local basic market (at least on the surface) but when you walk in and see the awe inspiring selection of actually usefull and beneficial products... well what can I say I'm impressed beyond words! Then after the initial shock somewhat wears off you find a great coffee cafe and an unexpressible bakery. I have been to great bakeries (including Krispy cream, and pinkbox donuts) but I have never had any donut or cake... goodies that could compare. Without question this is my most favorite market that I have ever been to ever! I can't wait to return. Every trip from vegas always ends up at this marketplace. EDIT: I just got a fresh made box of donuts from the bakery this morning. I ordered them last night and picked them up as soon as the store opened. I was very disapointed with them. I spoke with the person who made them and I can tell she does not love her job. I strongly suspect the donuts that I loved my first time here were made by an entirely different baker. The lady I spoke with gave garbage donuts and garbage excuses about how they are too hard to do correctly. I don't think I will be buying any more donuts from here I feel very hurt and disrespected by...

I have always preferred Ridley's until today. I grabbed heavy whipping cream and it felt half full so I went through 5 or 6 of them and found the fullest. I got to the register and voiced my concern. I opened it at the register and it was only ¾ full. I told them I didn't want to buy it if it wasn't full. I finished check out with no issue. On my way out I ran into someone and had a conversation. In the middle of my conversation and employee approached and interrupted my conversation to tell me (extremely rude and unprofessional) not to open it if I was not going to buy it. I told her it was not full and I didn't want to purchase it if it wasn't. She again rudely, told me not to open it and explained that they can't sell it now. I asked her why she would want to sell it if it's not full. She again stated that I'm not supposed to open it. I told her to stop trying to rip people off. I understand that they get these products to sell them and have little control over quality or quantity but when you have a customer making a complaint about the whole shelf being bad, I wouldn't think you would attack that customer. Anyways, then she proceeded to tell me she is the manager and I need to leave....
