Went here today with my husband and 2 kids and the kids ran ahead straight to the kids table where there are some toys to play with. Thought I overheard an employee make a comment about my kids, but brushed it off and continued shopping. My 4yr old started walking ahead of me, and as I called her to stay with me my husband came over and said that same employee mumbled loudly under her breath that we need to keep a better eye on our children. NEITHER child touched anything in the store, and we hadn't been inside more than 4 minutes and have now heard 2 comments regarding our children. Immediately we left. We will not be returning, what a terrible way to run a business. The mama bear in me wanted to confront the lady, however the Christian in me chose to walk away. My kids and I brought my husband for his first time, and we talked highly of the store and unfortunately our experience today made it our last. Our girls didn't deserve the unwelcomed hospitality, they are good kids and were excited to show daddy all the holiday stuff! Why have a children's table with used toys if the store isn't...

What a pleasure it was dealing with Mr. Merle Shelton and his staff. They had just the furniture I wanted and after discussing at length with Mr. Shelton I placed my order and sent him a sample of the stain I wanted on all my pieces. He finished everything to match some existing pieces and they match perfectly. Everything was great about the experience and most importantly the communication. My stuff had to be shipped so that added another layer but Mr. Shelton handled everything and made it so easy on me having to have it shipped to Maryland. I would do it all again in a heartbeat. We called to order a set of unfinished chairs so that we could finish them ourselves to match our custom built table. Merle mentioned that he could finish them for us at a very reasonable price, so we jumped at the opportunity to have a professional do it! It is so rare to find someone like Merle who is easy to work with and takes pride in his work. He ensured he got the custom match perfect, and wouldn't settle for anything less. We love our new chairs and would highly recommend...
