One of the most racist places I've ever lived. Whiter Park is a classist, anti-environmental, conspicuous consumption, snobby, gentrifying, soul-sucking hellscape. After 23 long years (I'm in my 50s), I finally escaped and live in one of the nicest cities in the country, Durham NC. Ethnically diverse, no pesticide coated yards (here we prefer veg gardens), we have several community fridges in addition to free produce markets, and the city buses have been free since covid. The dominant ethos here is community and inclusivity, and because this is one of the most educated cities in America there aren't as many Dump supporters as are infesting Whiter Park. Officer Derek serves the community of Winter Park as a fine ambassador. Tourism flourishes when retirees on motor coaches visiting Winter Park are able to park in their designated parking spot by the train depot, so dining and shopping are accessible.
