Recently, I had the unforgettable pleasure of dining at this local Turkish treasure, and it was an evening that left a lasting impression. The moment we walked in, we were enveloped by the warm and welcoming atmosphere that promised an authentic Turkish culinary journey.
Our adventure began with an array of starters that set the bar high for the rest of the meal. The Lavish bread was perfectly baked, its warm and fluffy texture pairing beautifully with the creamy, flavorful Babaganoush. The grape leaves and falafel were equally impressive, each bite a testament to the genuine care and tradition poured into every dish.
For the main course, the lamb doner was simply sublime, tender and richly seasoned, transporting us straight to the heart of Turkey. The spinach pide was a revelation, a delicious blend of flavors encased in the most delicate, crispy crust.
Our meal concluded on a high note with Turkish tea and baklava. The tea, aromatic and comforting, was the perfect accompaniment to the baklava, which was nothing short of divine. Each piece of baklava was a delicate balance of sweet, nutty, and flaky layers, leaving us savoring every last crumb.
The service throughout the evening was impeccable, with staff who were not only attentive but also passionate about sharing their culture and cuisine. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the rich flavors and warm hospitality of Turkey. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, eager to explore more of their...
Read moreI ended up in Winter Park because I took a wrong turn. I walked into the restaurant, five minutes before closing, and mentioned some food that I had as a child growing up in Montreal with Lebanese neighbors. The owner was there and said we can cook that for you. Remember, this was five minutes to closing. They made three orders of the food I remember from my childhood. Aside from the food being absolutely amazing the owner(who has gone through very tough stuff during Covid and lost another restaurant) was sweet and kind and interested in talking to somebody who just walked in off the street & needed someone to be great. I can’t say enough about the experience. If you’re ever in the neighborhood this is the restaurant to stop at. I won’t butcher the name but ask them for Turkish/lebanese pizza. It will blow your mind. Once again, people make the difference if you believe like I do that we should support people like this please visit this restaurant. Oh, and if you’re reading this, your baklava that you gave me for free was mind blowing and the best I’ve ever had. When you bite into it was ardh al-halib walassel. Thank you for being so kind. I will drive all the way there just to come back. Hopefully I get a chance to do...
Read moreLove the food but since new ownership I've been incorrectly billed three times, back to back, so should be my last time here hate to say. Ordered to-go and paid $40 cash while putting the remaining $11.73 balance on my card. I did in fact see the $11.73 pending the next day when visiting my online banking however three days later when it cleared I was charged for the full balance. Not sure where the cash went but someone ran that as a tip. WATCH YOUR BILLS! - 10/06 @ Owners reply .. the charge was pending for the $11.73 but when it cleared and posted it was for the $56.73. Look I love your food I am just fed up with incorrect billing. The problem seems to always happen when we pay a part of the order with cash and ask to put the rest of the balance on a credit or debit card. You or your employees need to learn how to use a POS system correctly. Hey the last time I provided a $6.00 tip (on my take out order) and when it cleared you never charged the tip. I came back in on my next order and paid you that tip anyway to make things right. That lady that came back for our $40 was my wife. We are people of integrity, please don't insult or intelligence. I know how to read a bank statement . . The very proof that we...
