I walked in off the street one day (in work out clothes, none-the- less, not dressed at all like a "serious customer" ... eventhough I am very much a "serious customer". We are looking to furnish a whole home new construction project.
Jamie greeted me with a big warm smile and helped me with every question I had...(eventhough I looked a bit like a hooligan on my first visit to the store and with no appointment!) I didn't mention my intention to buy, I just said I was there to look around. Her grasp and knowledge of the product coupled with her stellar design IQ and her desire to help me was heartwarming to say the least.
She spent much time with me that day and had the patience of a saint with my millions of questions.
When I was getting ready to leave, I told about my intentions to furnish and decorate a whole new home and without being pushy in the least, she gave me her card and advised me she'd be happy to help me whenever we were ready.
Since that time, Jamie has been true to her word. She is easily reachable during business hours, she is easy to communicate with, and she is REALLY GOOD AT WHAT SHE DOES. She also respects your budget and your time. She offers many suggestions that make your design ideas....better!
Jamie spent much time creating a digital space planning layout of our home floor plan for us so we are sure that what we chose will work in our space.
She has spent countless hours helping me land on just the right "everything" for our project! Even in making sure that the flow and layout of the plan works well for the footprint of the space.
This woman treats you, the customer, as if RH was her own personal design firm and you are her most important client! She is the epitome of what an ambassador for the RH brand should be!

Read moreI have been a long withstanding customer of RH and have purchased many items for my home from them throughout the years without any complaint or issue. However, I had an experience at this location recently that was not just off-putting- but troubling. Upon my arrival to the store, the sales woman working did not bother to greet me, nor get up out of her chair to assist me- in fact, she did not acknowledge my presence whatsoever (and no, I didn't come rudely wailing in through the door or dressed in tawdry clothing). I made eye contact with her and smiled, yet she only gave me a blank stare for all of .5 seconds before her eyes went back to her mac screen (where she simply sat alone at a table). After some time had passed, I went over to ask for her assistance regarding an item, to which she rudely told me to "hold on". She continued to make me wait during which her lack of manners continued; finally looking up from her screen and saying "what do you need". Her obscene attitude persisted as I asked her to make a sample return. It was clear she did not understand how to use the register yet rudely and aggressively insisted that my RH CC was not the 'correct card' that I used for the purchase... though my receipt stated the contrary. She stormed off without any niceties, and came back again insisting that my card was incorrect? I kindly suggested she find a manager- to which she started huffing and puffing? Moments later, the same card I had the entire time magically worked for the return. No apology or thank you for my patience was made by her. In fact, she walked back over to the table and plopped down. I then politely reminded her that I had a question regarding a particular piece of furniture. Instead of walking over to it with me, she glanced over her shoulder, muttered whatever collection name it was, and continued back on her mac. Really? I would also like to add that this was at 1:00pm, dead center of the day. I have NEVER been treated so rudely in my life. RESTORATION HARDWARE- this behavior is simply UNBECOMING of your brand. Your employee making an hourly wage equating to 0.003 the cost the bed purchased from your store has absolutely NO RIGHT to speak to any client so condescendingly. I suggest teaching your poorly selected employee some customer service skills... immediately. Didn't catch her name (shocking, right?) but she's the one with the European accent. Read moreLove their products. Furniture delivery is atrocious. Ordered a bed and 2 night stands. 1 night stand delivered twice before I got one that was not damaged. The other nightstand was delivered 4 times before I got one that was undamaged. I'm not talking about a ding either. These pieces were obviously damaged. One night stand was so damaged it didn't sit straight. The bed was "custom made" and took 3 months to arrive. Once it got to our home, it was pulled from the back of their delivery truck (which was 2 hours late with no phone call to lets us know) PARTIALLY wrapped in a moving blanket. This bed is made of sand colored Belgian linen.....had it been damaged or dirtied i would have had to wait another 3 months for another to be made. When we asked the delivery people why it wasn't wrapped, they replied angrily that if we didn't like it they could "put it back on the truck." The delivery people were typically significantly late 3 out of the 5 deliveries that we experienced, with no call to tell us that they were running behind. After many wasted Saturdays waiting for super expensive damaged furniture, they refunded our delivery fee.....very unapologetically I might add. I will never buy furniture from this company again.
