If you are using the beauty apartment, stay VERY VERY far away from Naghely. If they book you with her, run.
I dyed my daughter’s hair blue for the summer. I decided that I wanted it back to normal before school started. I called ulta beauty and was put with a same day appointment with Naghley. I said on the whole that I dyed my daughter’s hair blue. When I came in, I felt incredibly judged. I walked up to the salon and was greeted by Naghely with a “oh wow, this must be Olivia”. That was the first red flag.
It then came to the consolation. I completely understand the point of the consolation. I know that they need to know what products were used, etc etc. The tone of voice and the WAY she started the conversation was far from acceptable. It started with “WHAT did you do to her hair?!”. I was then lectured on how awful box dye is.
When my daughter sat down, it was obvious that Naghely was not very experienced in hair. She asked the other salon artist working, Holly, what to do to pull out the color. Naghely then went on to talk about how damaged my daughter’s hair is etc etc. This was all said TO me as she was doing my daughter’s hair. Holly was standing next to Naghely. I asked if Holly could take over due to the disrespect and attitude that Naghely gave. She had me in tears when she told me that I basically ruined her “virgin” hair. Some things are just meant to be kept inside of your head. She then said to Holly “Go ahead and take over. I knew this wasn’t going to work from the very beginning”.
The whole situation was incredibly uncomfortable. Holly ended up having to FIX what Naghely mess up. She used the color remover and did a very blotchy job.
Overall, the end result for my daughter’s hair was beautiful. Holly COMPLETELY saved the day. She is a true artist with so much respect and love for what she does. She didn’t make me feel bad or uncomfortable.
I stand by my one star for the service I received at the beginning. Again, if you don’t want judgment, attitude, and a blotchy hair service, stay away...
Read moreCustomer service is a joke. Watched the women, who is apparently the only one that can help me with cologne, go on with an unnecessarily long personal story with another guest while getting her the wrong perfume, waiting waiting. They she goes to help me. I tell her exactly what I wanted. She had to look online to see if they had it, then I literally watch her go to the front desk where her person phone is and tells me she has to look to see where it is again just to laugh and text back people on her phone. Just to go back to the display case where it wasn’t; we both saw it wasn’t there and she was there with the key and could’ve checked under in the drawer but decided to do that after she finished her text. Just to tell me now she has to check the back and after waiting more she comes back to tell me it was just delivered and there’s apparently 20 people back there and it’d be better to stop by tomorrow. Unfortunately for you, I won’t be back at this location tomorrow because this location doesn’t care about their consumer. Here I am about to spend over $145 on cologne and I can’t even get the respect and professionalism that you would expect as a prospective customer. Terrible customer service. And the store is a mess. If you really have all that many people is the store, maybe restock and organize the floor so it doesn’t look like the after math of a Black...
Read moreVery bad customer experience. It’s my first time at Ulta and definitely first time at Ulta at Woburn. I was about to spend $400-500 at Ulta. But I was told at check out that I have to become their member in order to return stuff. And I was having the Moon Platium Pro Glow teeth whitening device with me which costs $129 and plus another set of 30 whitening strips. So I asked her how I know this device will work until I go home, unbox it and literally press the power button to see if it works. And if it doesn’t work, I can’t return it? She - Katie, said “no, unless you sign up to become a member!” Like seriously? I’m forced to become a member? I didn’t say anything but not to get the device and the extra strips. I still spent another $200 something at Ulta for my skincare products (which I regretted now, I can spend my money at Sephora with better experience) The whole interaction with the cashier- Katie is just about membership, no hello, no thank you, just awkward silence. Never come...
