Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Woodbury

Its EXTREMELY disheartening encountering racial profiling and discrimination still in 2024.. wish I could give 0 stars my parents went into this establishment yesterday I helped them place a coffee order and unfortunately I had to leave but I left them there.. there was 2 families in line behind them with coffee orders as well.. the orders of the families behind were completed first and my parents were completely ignored and disregarded.. when they finally got their coffee order it was wrong my dad speaks English but has a hard time explaining he was yelled at and talked down on by the cashier Malcom K and the manager/supervisor on duty helping drive thru.. unfortunately he was unable to get the coffee he originally wanted because he felt intimidated and cashier just did not want to help.. I had a bad feeling since I placed the order because cashier Malcolm was very impatient and her demeanor completely changed when she seen me translating and speaking Spanish to my parents.. this behavior needs to change because I did not want to believe I was being racial profiled when stepping in but unfortunately after I left my parents had a horrible experience.. hoping these workers get proper training on DEI (Diversity, Equity and inclusion) to learn how to treat people of different ethnicities and...

This place is just SLOW! Doesn’t matter if there are 6 or 12 people behind the counter they can’t seem to make bagels or even a coffee in a timely manner. 10 to 15 minutes to get a couple of bagels, ridiculous. Every Caribou I’ve ever been to is slow and understaffed but this one takes the prize. They apologize every time for the wait but they don’t fix it.

Update 10/10/2018 This place is still terrible. You have to ask to have a bagel toasted just to get it actually toasted, they put little to no creamed cheese on, still slow at the counter and in getting stuff out. You have to explain things 3 times to the cashier. You ask to have you bagel cut in half and 6/10 times they forget. You order apple cider and they literally grab a jug of apple juice from a 2 gallon jug and pour it in a cup. No one here seems to get how horrible of an experience it is. The woman who took my order was friendly but it was all downhill from there. There was one person ahead of me in line and one in back but, according to my texting log, it took over 12 minutes to get 2 untoasted bagels with cream cheese.

The lengthy delay provided plenty of opportunity to survey the dirty dining area and develop a deep empathy for the feller who had been waiting for longer than anyone for an order he had phoned in before coming in.

My order was unceremoniously tossed on the counter by the bagel nazi with nary a word and it was left to the customers to rummage through the bag and figure out whose order it was.

The bagels were good but the honey almond cream cheese on one bagel was spread so thin I could have read a newspaper through it and the jalapeno salsa cream cheese appeared to be completely non-existent on the other.
