Had a simple question to ask the doctor, was told that its best that I see an oral surgeon ahead of time. Never mentioned any "pain" to the doctor, doctor wrote down on her notes that I have been experiencing "pain". She also mentioned this symptom of "pain" during a recorded phone conversation during which I made sure to clearly correct her. This is negligent behavior and I don't appreciate people putting words in my mouth. The doctor is a blatant liar who takes my words out of context to use against me. It also makes me question her abilities and professionalism if she cant answer a simple question without forwarding me to a different specialist.
When I called to set an appointment, I was told that the doctor would call me to speak with me at a later time. The front office staff I spoke with (in a recorded phone conversation) AGAIN clearly stated this symptom of "pain" while reading the doctor's notes on my patient file. I made sure to correct her as well, stating that it wasn't pain that I was experiencing. (I NEVER experienced and NEVER mentioned any symptoms of pain to the doctor and I have proof rebuffing these claims on the recorded phone conversations.) The staff member I spoke with had an irritated and arrogant tone of voice and kept insisting that the doctor will call me the next day to explain the situation. I asked her why she was acting in such a manner, as I was simply confused. Further, the doctor chose to avoid any communication, instead letting the staff call me the next day to tell me that their practice "doesn't fit my needs". There was no explanation for why their practice "doesn't fit my needs". All I'm coming in for is to straighten my teeth and have no other needs aside from that.
For all the inconvenience, I never received an apology nor a good explanation for their behavior. If this is their tactic of turning patients away, then I would suggest that they be more honest in their ways. I do not appreciate it when people choose to lie on my behalf.
I demanded my patient files (along with the doctor's notes), was told that they will be sent to me in the mail. If I understand correctly, I have to sign a document releasing the patient files. I received no mention of this. As a patient I have a lawful right to obtain my medical records. I am also requesting the doctor's license number.
((Also, both doctors only work two days out of the week. This wasn't mentioned until after my consultation on the day I tried to schedule an appointment for the initial down-payment.))
Another surprise was the hefty down payment of $1800, with a total amount quoted at $4300 for Invisalign lite. I have visited a number of orthodontists and none asked for such a high down payment.
This practice is all smoke and mirrors, which is more focused on the appearance of their office than the quality of the...
Read moreI have spent the last three years searching for an orthodontist who I can trust with my advanced situation. I remember leaving countless consultations with other doctors and exclaiming to my wife âI just wish I could find a doctor who is calm and confident.â I had almost given up hope. But then, I met Dr. Andy Kragor and my quality of life continues to get better every single day.
I can honestly say that Dr. Andy is the best orthodontist I have ever known. He is thoughtful, yet fearless. He is humble in his brilliance. His credentials are only outweighed by the measure of his impeccable character. He is a true leader in every sense of the word. His entire staff loves him. Sometimes, they endearingly call him Batman because he treats everyone like a superhero. And I agree. Much like Bruce Wayne, Dr. Andy Kragor has been gifted with the unique qualifications to do the extraordinary.
But wait, it gets better. His wife is also an orthodontist and they both graduated with the highest honors from the most prestigious school in the country for orthodontics. They own and operate this practice together, which is so refreshing. Speaking of refreshing, have you seen inside his office building? His lovely wife custom designed the entire facility from floor to ceiling. They really went above and beyond to make this a fun, experience-driven, family-friendly environment. Plus, they have state-of-the-art equipment which includes a panoramic x-ray machine. I felt like I was in a cool sci-fi movie. Except in this one, there arenât any torture scenes with people gagging on dental impression putty. Did I mention that every chair has its own big screen TV?!
If that werenât enough, his brother is one of the best oral surgeons in Georgia. The triumvirate of Dr. Kragor is more than equipped to address any situation from any age group. I also want to highlight Natalie Garrison, the office manager. She is a breath of fresh air.
If cost is a concern, relax. Because Dr. Andy and his wife, Dr. Ambre own the practice, they have the flexibility and options to make your dreams come true on just about any budget. They even have options for in-house financing with no interest!
I realize this review may seem a little over the top, but these are my honest opinions. I wouldnât be surprised if Dr. Andy ran for public office one day. I would vote for him.
I have so much confidence in Dr. Andy Kragor that I drive over 100 miles round-trip from my home in Gainesville to his office in Woodstock. Itâs worth every mile. If you are considering orthodontic treatment, do yourself a favor and schedule a consultation with Kragor Orthodontics and get ready to start your journey to the best smile...
Read morelet me just start off by saying we LOVED everything about or visits and experience Dr. Andy Kragor and the WHOLE staff!!! by we Iâm referring to my wife and myself.
Both my wife and I were both patients of an orthodontist, where NEITHER OF US were happy with her work. In search for another orthodontist we were referred to Dr Andy Kragor! Best thing to ever happen to our teeth!
He knew exactly what to do with our teeth... and did it. Our previous orthodontist had my wifeâs bottom teeth just swaying from left to right, after each adjustment. A couple days after each visit we would be like âwhat is she doing? đ¤â. When we were referred to Dr Kragor, the previous orthodontist had already removed my braces, but my wife still had them on. When we finally found Dr Kragor we set an appointment IMMEDIATELY. The morning we walked in, I was just going for a consult, because I was SO unhappy with my results from the previous orthodontist...and I walked out with braces that very morning. That was in July of 2020. I knew I wanted to be his patient because of the aggressiveness in his work. And my results have heeded just that! Every visit... the staff was SUPER friendly, no matter how early in the morning lol I recent lunch got my braces all off and looooove the results! So the greatness that is Dr Kragor has fixed my concerns within 6 months. My wife got her top brackets off the same day as me and we just have a few more appointments for her bottom brackets. But pleeeeease understand how much we loved going to the orthodontist... for the work that was done... the kindness, friendliness, and genuine good energy of EVERY staff member. The cleanliness of the office and covid precautions made us always feel safe and comfortable!
We live about 25 min away from the office, but didnât mind the drive one bit, because everything about the office was very much worth it!!!
Thank you Dr. Andy Kragor, and staff, for all that you have done for our teeth and our...
