Lane Bryant — Local services in Yuma

I'm a plus size lady. I like to feel, touch and try on clothing especially clothing I want to purchase. I found at this location they don't carry my size. It is difficult to know how an item of clothing fits when you cannot try it on before you purchase it. The staff at this location are extremely helpful and accommodate my requests of purchasing items at their store online. It is unfortunate that this location doesn't carry 4X and 5X sizes even though the store is for Plus-sized people. Additionally, some of the styles of clothing don't even come and they larger size plus size configurations. It is concerning, as the United States population grows in size that this is the only plus size store for females that is specific for larger sizes. If I wanted to shop at walmart, target, kohl's, or other like stores I would go there. I am choosing to shop in a brick and mortar store and it is disappointing. I believe you can do better, have more selection of clothing and items that fit larger size people, and have more than one piece of clothing for those larger size people in the store. I'm hoping that someone that can make decisions will make a choice to supply this location with sizing that will work for a plus plus plus plus...

I support the masks and social distancing, but Maybe let your customers know when they walk in the store instead of after they've spent 15 minutes gathering many options, that they can't try on clothes before spending A LOT of money to purchase them. Hard to return items that don't fit so I can buy a different size to take home and try it on when the closest Lane Bryant To me is HOURS away from my small town. We can stand in the store as long as we don't stand behind a door so we can see if something fits our oddly shaped bodies. Maurice's has open dressing rooms that they sanitize. I'll be shopping...

I went in to get a fitting for bra size, and the lady who helped me was not helpful. She kept asking me where the cloth tape measure should be and how it felt, but i told her I had no idea what a good bra should feel like or where it should sit so she instead just gave me a couple bras to try with what she measured. None fit. Also, They only have size 40 and up, unless they changed by then. So I just ended up having to order online to get a 38. I will go try again one day, she might have been learning.
