This restaurant is 10/10 ⭐️ I went there for breakfast with my husband and we were very impressed. First, the decoration of the place was super, and the restaurant was tidy and clean. They have a lovely balcony facing the street to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Hanoi while eating. The staff members were very welcoming and nice. But let's cut to the chase! The food was exquisite 👌🏻 I tried the rise&shine bowl with mango, turmeric powder, ginger, banana, passion fruit, chia seeds, coconut flakes, and granola. I also added peanut butter as an extra cause you can't never go wrong with it 🤤. My husband had the Pink Up bowl with strawberry, red dragon fruit, banana, almond butter, chia seeds, coconut flakes, and granola, and he also loved it. For drinks, I had the ice blended coconut coffee (my favourite so far in Hanoi) and my husband a hot americano. We will definitely come back to Ivegan as we absolutely love their breakfast. They have plenty of options for brunch and lunch, such as salad bowls, toasts, platters, burgers, etc. The price is slightly higher than if you have street food or go to other local cafes, however the quality of the food and the dishes worth the money, and in the end we pay €10ish for the two of us. I would be shocked if even people who are not vegan don't like it. The flavours are just way too good! Seriously, give it a go!!!! 🥰
Update: we came back for lunch and we had the falafel bowl and the bagel. The falafel bowl was...
Read moreWe waited in line, with just one other patron in front of us, for about 7 minutes. Got to the counter and we ordered our food and then they told it was a 30 minute wait. They should really tell you ahead of ordering and waiting in line that food will take that long.
While waiting for them to take my order, I was watching the kitchen and the inefficiency is crazy in there. They had 3 young workers all working on the same order. One person getting the spoons, one person setting the tray, another putting the bowls on the tray… it was obvious why they were so backed up.
I ordered a coffee with my order which also took 30 minutes to come out.
The protein ball was $1.20 Canadian and you get ONE ball. There are 5 balls pictured. I can appreciate when food is made with high quality ingredients but that’s just simply overpriced.
The wake up bowl was mid. It was overpowered with banana so you couldn’t taste any other flavours. The sandwich was actually really good; I loved the pesto and the charcoal bread. The cream cheese toast was also really nice. The cream cheese was more of a hummus texture but it had that “sour” taste of cream cheese.
While I did enjoy the food, I wouldn’t come here again. The service is too slow and not...
Read moreThis vegan spot is wonderful. The space is so cute, nice to go alone or as a small group. Nice healthy and delicious variety of options to pick from, including gluten free options. I got a salad and a juice. The salad was delicious and abundant, maybe could use a little more amount of dressing or salt. Such good proportions and quality ingredients. The sunset juice was good but couldnt really taste the ginger or turmeric or cinnamon which wouldve been nice. I will probably be getting the smoothie bowl next time. The nut brownie is also tasty, a healthy light snack for the go, if you’re looking for something sweet maybe go for the cakes since its definitely not very sweet. Would return and recommend.
When I came back I got a smoothie bowl (ivegan one) and a golden latte which was a little salty but still enjoyed it somehow, and next time another salad. Smoothie bowl was delicious, nice consistency and decided to add mango since it felt it would need some fruit topping. The tokyo bowl (salad) was good except that the tofu seemed a bit too fried, maybe it was fried twice so a little too airy, not as much consistency as I wouldve preferred. Still nice proportion. Would recommend getting the vedic bowl instead which I...
