In contrast to the disappointing meal at Elena@Four Seasons, I had the pleasure of dining at Duhau Restaurante & Vinoteca at Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires, and the difference in food quality was remarkable.
Every dish was executed with precision and balance. The Catch and Seafood dish (sea-catch Lisa and river-catch Surubi) was perfectly cooked—tender with a delicate flavor that shone through. It was rich, flaky, and beautifully prepared, showcasing the best of Argentine waters. The dry-aged New York strip was everything you expect from top-tier Argentine beef: rich, juicy, and expertly grilled to the ideal doneness. The French fries (perhaps the best French Fries of Argentina) were spot-on—crispy, golden, and well-seasoned. The salad was fresh and lightly dressed, allowing the ingredients to shine rather than be overwhelmed.
The service was just as refined as at Elena— professional, and well-paced—but here, the food truly elevated the experience. The ambiance was elegant yet relaxed (great view of the garden) making it a perfect setting for an upscale meal.
If you're looking for a top-quality dining experience in Buenos Aires, I’d highly recommend Duhau Restaurante & Vinoteca over Elena. It delivers on both flavor and finesse, proving that great service and ambiance are even better when paired with...
Read moreThe service was amazing, we were pleasantly greeted and directed to the restaurant we preferred quickly. We sat on the terrace over looking a garden setting.
We had a wonderfully prepared grilled provolone appetizer with sliced tomatoes, halved-hazelnuts and a dill dressing. The cheese was prepared perfectly and had a crisp exterior but chewy inside. It was seasoned and very tasty.
For our main course we split an asado (4 types of top quality beef) for two with grilled vegetables. They brought it all out on a mini grill to keep it all warm for us while we are.
The vegetables had great flavor and you can not beat the grill extra taste. But the beef "was to die for". It was perfectly prepared medium rare. (My only caveat would to ask them to put the entraña [skirt steak] later on the grill after they flip the other beef to cook on the other side, ours was cooked more medium and was a little tough)
I would highly recommend this restaurant and I'll be back...

My husband and I were looking for an elegant restaurant with a creative chef for our final dinner in Buenos Aires. While Duhau was not our first choice (it was Monday cS night when many restaurants are closed), we still thought this one would be great. The location is beautiful and the restaurantrtx is intimate and elegant. The service was good. The food however, was none of thosed things. We ordered grilled prawns, Duck confit Peking style and Argentinian Wagyu sirloin cap. The prawns were ok and the sirloin was delicious (even though it was not cooked to the temperature we ordered) but the duck was bad. It was not edible, not cooked enough and not prepared correctly. We left most of it on the plate. The waiter did remove the charge for the duck entree (and this action earned them the third star). Needless to say, we did not order...
