I really want to like this restaurant. Really great food and atmosphere. But getting check or change takes forever. Both times I went, I waited over 30 minutes for the check. And after another 15 minutes waiting for change, I left. The first thing I learned when I was training to be a server is when people are ready to leave the don't want to wait for the check. Nothing else matter if you have wait for the check. The last impression will always last. Waiting for the check leaves a bad impression and memory.
Turning over happy tables makes a restaurant more profitable than attracting new customers who have wait 30+ minutes for a check.

Read moreMy family and I came in for dinner and we all enjoyed our food and the fresh lemonade and polmelo drinks. It was nice seeing the cooks at the grills and oven behind the bar. They had great squash and corn stew...very thick and covered with cheese. My daughter has the spinach canelonni, served like the other dish in a metal dish for the oven. I had a cheese arepa...the arepa dough was fried and crispy. My dad had a super juicy matambre de cerdo with rice and creamy salad. The night time ambiance on the corner with all of the twinkly strings of lights added a magical touch. The server was really nice but took a bit to find and flag him down for the check...which is normal in Argentina. They never try to push you out to move tables. Thank you for a nice night put...

I was glad my food was served on ceramic plates this time and not on wooden platters. This is one of the few places where you can find breaded fried shrimp. And even though it is expensive, I will still get it occasionally since I love it.
The other issue here is they do not accept credit cards. That is not an insurmountable problem if you know ahead of time but surely can be a major...
