Black Angus — Restaurant in Yerevan

One of the few places where the food quality remains consistently good!

Food: 10/9 The burgers are some of the best in Yerevan—not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely good. The vegan pizza last year was tastier than it is now. The mozzarella sticks were very delicious and gooey! This is definitely a place to come for food.

Service: 10/8.5 Last year, the service was terrible—no utensils were brought, dirty plates were left on the table, and the staff didn’t seem to care about the guests, not even asking if everything was to our liking. It felt more like a cafeteria! But this year, the staff seems to have changed, and all the waiters are guys, which might explain the improvement in service. The service has definitely improved, though there are still occasional lapses, like forgetting utensils!

Atmosphere: 10/9 It’s always crowded inside the restaurant, but the noise is not uncomfortable, which is a big plus. The lighting inside is comfortable and pleasant!

Restroom: 10/6 The only downside is the restrooms. They are located near the staff area, which is unpleasant. The sink faucet is awful—it’s hard to open and close. This definitely needs to be fixed!

First came here in April of 2023, and had a great experience,burgers had tasted gourmet. Fast forward to July 2023 and the service was lousy , burgers were worse than horrible - I’ve had better burgers back in Los Angeles at Carl’s Jr …my wife and I ordered the Angus Double Cheese Burgers, expecting the same flavor as from our last visit, but the burgers were poorly made..flavor was off..we then realized that we had been served the mediocre Beef patty option yet charged for the Angus patty, which was what gave its gourmet flavor . Also despite the scorching heat, the establishment had the windows open without any Air Conditioning , we couldn’t catch our breath because it was so hot and stuffy - it was literally so hot I couldn’t consume my food. Do better, that is if you in fact care about your business. Some places have consistent great food and service. They never change. And guess what, people always go there and reviews...
