I ordered on yandex eats so I can't comment on the venue or service.
The stracciatella cheese in the arugula salad was delicious but the tomatoes in the salad were not of acceptable quality seeing it is August.
This suggests Syrovarnya doesn't have a reliable and dedicated vegetable supplier or that it chooses to save money by buying inferior quality tomatoes (the difference per kilo would be at most 120 drams per kilo at this time of year so it is not acceptable).
The tomatoes are also not peeled and I am not comfortable eating the skin of tomatoes so they were of no use to me.
The fried chicken with mashed peas was problematic - it was too salty (the first rule of cooking is you can always add salt but never subtract once a dish is cooked).
The mashed peas had capers which is not a successful combination of flavours and added to the saltiness of the dish.
The focaccia is made well but it lacks fresh rosemary and a 'paint' of olive oil to take it to the next level.
The worst part was that the fringes of the chicken were not fried well on one side (they were fine on the other.
It is not speculation on my behalf because the pink colour is an indication the cook failed to fry it evenly.
As for the desserts I can not comment because I didn't orderorder any.
I fully understand that this is a well known restaurant in a central location in Yerevan and that many people who seek to enhance their self esteem are not only able but also willing to pay the equivalent of 10 Euros for a piece of cake.
I, on the other hand refuse to pay such astronomical prices because in Italy I pay half this price for cakes (including cheese cakes) and in Budapest a third of the price in pastry shops that are established since more than a century and are of high quality which I suspect does not fall from that of the cakes in...
