Karas Restaurant — Restaurant in Yerevan

Today we went there with our 11-month kid but something happened that was beyond imagination and shocking. Our kids were playing with their bell for a few moments but one of the staff came towards us and took the bell disrespectfully without warning or telling us not to do it. I told them that this is very rude. They must respect a kid but that guy was very absolutelyrude. In terms of the food, I have to be honest that the food was ok but their service is very slow and we had to wait for a long time. I don't recommend this particular restaurant not because of their bad service but because they didn't respect an 11-month boy as a human being. I was tempted to call the police but controlled my temper. Come on! Is that really how you behave with your customers??? I haven't seen any thing like that in my life. As an honest person, I genuinely suggest not going here at all. I don't know why the head manager of this branch doesn't train the staff to behave kindly and professionally??? I regret that I went there. This is a real shame to behave with a kid like that... Not...

This is long overdue review. My family and I were in Armenia in December and had dinner at Karas Restaurant in Tumanyan. We ordered their bestsellers, Khinkali, Adjarian Khachapuri, Salad with prunes surprisingly amazing we ordered 2. Coming from someone who doesn't eat prunes. We also ordered the BBQ Set 1. The food was very tasty and yummy. The ribs were divine. Some of the BBQ cuts were dry and chewy but we still enjoyed it. The place was warm and homey atmosphere. Apparently, a lot of filipinos eat there. We met a few friendly people there. I had to take a photo of the bill to remember the names of the food we ate. The language barrier didn't stop the staff to be friendly and attentive.

Our happy experience with Karas didn't stop us from going back when my son and I went back to Amenia for our flight back to Abu Dhabi. Highly...
