I’ve eaten pizza on four different continents, ranging from the unforgettable to the outright forgettable. Until now, my top contenders were Lombardi’s in NYC and a hidden pizzeria tucked away on a quiet street in Rome. But after visiting EST Pizzeria, I can confidently say: this was the best pizza I’ve ever had. The flavours were extraordinarily well-balanced—each ingredient amplifying the others, creating a depth and intensity that lingered on the palate. The crust was a standout in its own right: perfectly crisp, yet with just the right amount of chew. We began with the roasted kipfler potatoes, which surprised us with their complexity. The Swiss Raclette cheese was intensely aromatic and rich in flavour, pairing beautifully with the nutty, earthy potatoes—far more than a mere side dish. For our main, we chose the Spinaci pizza. It arrived at the perfect moment—visually striking and generously topped with garlicky marinated spinach, lightly toasted pine nuts, and a rhythmic scattering of kalamata olives. Each bite was layered, aromatic, and utterly compelling. While the toppings were fresh, generous, and perfectly balanced, the true star of this culinary masterpiece was the crust. Incredibly, it was both impossibly thin and delightfully crisp, yet still retained enough body to offer a satisfying chew—something rarely executed with such precision. I commend Enzo and Matt for creating something truly exceptional. If you’re in Adelaide, make your way to EST Pizzeria. It’s not just a recommendation—it’s a must. This is, without question, the best pizza on earth. You won’t be disappointed.

This Italian restaurant is just what you find in Italy. Everything about it was incredible. I loved the choices on the menu and the Italian wines available. The wood fire pizzas were amazing and were made in the Italian style (as expected). They catered well for my gluten free and dairy free diet. We sat outside undercover on the wide pavement. There were also tables inside and up the stairs on the first level. The toilets were also upstairs. The service was sensational. The waiters were friendly, helpful and were always available to assist. Everything about this restaurant was just so wonderful.

Tried the gnocchi experience and it was sensational. I love it how they use their impressive wood oven to bake the gnocchi. My favourite was the gorgonzola gnocchi and their rosé gnocchi. Soft fluffy pillows with that beautiful rich sauce. The garlic bread also had such a great texture and paired really well, mopping up the yummy sauces. We also tried the apple crumble, this was delicious and comforting!! Be sure to try their espresso martini, it's a good one! 👌

Do not go to this restaurant. This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. Firstly, the customer service was horrendous - waiter had zero interest in attending to our table, was dismissive and barely checked up on us and didn’t clear our table for ages until we requested him to do so. I requested a heater for our table as we were freezing outside - then learned that there was a vacant table upstairs in the warm dining area (nice right?). My booking was clearly not a priority for this restaurant, the staff weren’t even that busy and seemed to prefer talking with one another than attending to our dinner.

When I raised my complaints with the staff, I was spoken to in an aggressive and confrontational manner - the waiter was ready to have an argument with me. I am completely disgusted. His whole demeanour was aggressive, rude and completely unprofessional. this person should not be working in the hospitality industry, or any customer service environment. He should learn to accept customer feedback, however angry and frustrated a customer may be, no staff member should ever respond the way this guy did.

Second, the food took almost an hour to come out - mind you the restaurant was extremely quiet. The pizza was extremely thin - not the type of light tasty thin, but it was almost as if there was barely anything there to eat - bland and plain is how I would describe the food. I think the owners of this pizzeria (if you can even call it that) should re-consider their current staff, as I have never been treated like this. I am truly disgusted and will never dine at this place again, nor will any of my party.

Finally, I had a massive cheesecake for my party of 6 (yes 6 people) and came to find that my big cheesecake box had been thrown in the bin, with no regard as to how I would carry the rest of my massive cheesecake home - common sense clearly...

Best gnocchi had all over Adelaide, so light and pillowy with such a tasty Gorgonzola cheese sauce on it (better than any had at all expensive Italian restaurants eaten at where they make gnocchi from scratch......u must try it)....

The wood fired salami pizza with honey glaze is so tasty with such a layered flavour profile that u must go here just to try this unusual flavoured pizza, no other pizza available out there that tastes as good as this and not look anywhere near as tasty as it actually tastes........plz try this flavour explosion for ur tastebuds!!!

Simple leaf salad just had oil, balsamic& parmesan on it, but it also had heaps of fresh taste and was great compliment to rich carbs of gnocchi& pizza........

Corn nibs were an interesting surprise with nice flavour seasoning sprinkled on top of quarter cut lengthways of corn cobs which easier to eat than corn cobs and heaps less messy& so much flavour!!

Do yourself a flavour favour and go in and see Enzo@ est. Pizzeria for some different but tasty& unusually curated flavourful italian fresh...
