I am trying to add this review without sounding like I have cut and paste it from other reviews. The reason for this is because I truly believe you will not find a better pizza in Adelaide. Perfectly cooked, perfectly flavoured perfect proportion size. You are greeted at the gate by a small private courtyard with tables and chairs neatly spaced. The music played is chosen by a staff member and suits the ambience of the place. You have a projector playing all manner of random videos on one of the walls. When you look inside you see the beautiful pizza oven in the center of the room with the chef making the most delicious pizzas. The staff are very friendly and always keep our water topped up and table cleared without feeling like they are waiting right there. The meal came in great time. We had a baratta for starters which was so tasty. The pizzas which were the calabrese and a szbliski arrived soon after. We didn't feel rushed and could have sat for as long as we needed. This is a family run place and you can tell by the care and attention given to all the details while making you feel like your round at a friend's for a dinner Do yourself a favour and go and check it out. It is the best pizza I have ever had hands down.

Average & the owner the worst. Do a Google and check out the trip advisor reviews, as I reckon most of the last year or two ones are their friends & people they know/not genuine. Had a bday booked few years back. Forced in to banquet (as we would be taking up the restaurant & staying longer so they need to make more $) but then they opened up to the public on the day. Banquet was extremely overpriced for what it was (less food for more $ than ordering from the menu). Then they charged double on top (making it over $1200) by telling all my guests it's an open bar (I.e. drinks paid for/included by host - was not the case). I paid, shellshocked & not one to ever make a fuss - but shouldn't have paid. Couldn't believe the way the owner spoke to me when I called back after calling & speaking to guests to discover what/why it happened - but I should have known Etica did it intentionally & wouldn't care that it happened. I shouldn't have paid the extra ~$600, I should have walked out. Similar has happened to quite a few people, & they were on the news for it. There are many other awesome pizza bars with authentic amazing pizza in Adelaide now to support - I'd avoid this one !

Yo, yo — date night vibe, we cruised through the street, To Etica Pizza, where Naples and Adelaide meet. South-east corner, city lights low, But inside it was fire, like a wood-oven glow. We kept it classic, no need to stunt, Margarita pie, got that Neapolitan punch. Mushroom delight, earthy and rich, With a side of green salad that scratched the itch. Drinks were flowin’, sweet and chill, Italian vibes that gave us that Sunday thrill. Dessert came out, cannoli so clean, Tiramisù dream, like a movie scene. The homely feel — mamma would be proud, Staff so warm, like a Napoli crowd. Kitchen crew? Bellissimo, fam — They spin dough and fire like it’s part of the plan. We felt like we flew to the south of the boot, But stayed in the ’Laide, in our Sunday suits. We’ll be back no doubt, with the fam in tow, ‘Cause Etica got that southern soul and Neapolitan flow. Pizza with purpose, love in the crust — In Etica we trust, yeah, in Etica we trust. 🍕💥🇮🇹

My partner and I attended Etica mid week for dinner, the atmosphere is nice has an old school Italian feel, service was good but the food was really lacking passion I feel.

To start we got the Olive Al Ascolana, served on some aioli, you got 3 Olives 2 of them were so small they essentially had nothing inside them and they just tasted of deep frying oil. I have had many Olive ascolana from close family in Ascoli and these did them no justice. They should be plump olives with a generous stuffing of cooked meats and veg made into a paste.

Next Our Margarita with buffala mozzarella had 1 piece of basil on it, for $34 you would expect some more. The venue claims to be vera pizza napoletana, but to be totally honest the pizzas we received was not, i would call it more Roman style which are still great, the core issue being they are advertising and marketed on Instagram to be vera pizza napoletana and the photos on Instagram look fantastic, but we did not receive anything like that. The oven would of had to be well below 400 degrees to result in the pizzas we received. Our second pizza had scarola, red onion, anchovies and mozzarella. The onions we’re cut very rustico and the pizza was totally covered in them, it also had 3-4 pieces of anchovie bits so you could not even tell they were there. The dough lacked a captivating flavour as with the sauce and the volume of semolina on the crust resulted in a very crunchy pizza.

I can’t comment on the pasta as didn’t try it.

All in all I wouldn’t be going back anytime soon. The prices are very steep given what is...
