South Australian Museum Café — Restaurant in Adelaide

20 min wait time when not full of people. We were visiting the state and going to an exhibit. I ordered the pulled pork burger and chips. $27 as it seemed like something I could share with my elderly mother. I took one mouthful of the pulled pork and instantly tasted a spice. I cannot tolerate spicy food. My mum has no gall bladder. I quickly scraped the pulled pork off the bun and told mum not to eat it. Well that tarnished our Adelaide experience!! I went and asked the girl behind the counter and she went to check what spices were in there. She was gone so long I went back and ate some chips before my whole lunch was ruined. She then came out and said it was Their specially Sauce. No, oh I am sorry. Nothing. Honestly I don't think they really cared. So Beware Anaphelatic people. Those who eat their. Maybe the Pulled pork and chip burger meal could say Contains spices. Just like the Spicy Honey option above it. Bloating up and throwing up was not on my to do list...

Absolutely horrendous service. Ordered a coffee during a rush period so I patiently waited people who ordered after me were getting there orders drinks and food while i was still waiting. Once the rush was gone I asked if my coffee was missed. The lady completely ignored me but did go try find the docket for my order she found it popped it on the coffee machine (still continued to ignore me)then walked away to talk/flirt with another staff member I approached and asked what was happening with my coffee as I needed to get back to a school excursion I was supervising and she just handed me my momey back and continued to talk to this guy. Absolutely shocked at the attitude and behaviour. I was polite and understanding that they had a rush with very little staff but to be completely ignored.....

Today I bought a small chocolate milk and a chocolate Bilby. When I was charged $11.50 I very politely and respectfully asked how much the chocolate milk was and was told $4.50, Soni then asked how much the Bilby was and was told $3.50. I them again, politely asked why I was charged $11.50. the shop assistant then aggressively told me to calm down. I very quietly said 'Im not upset, I'm just wondering. He then said 'Oh my god lady, it was an accidental press of the button, here's your money!' and proceeded to storm off. Absolutely...
