Authentic, generous, delicious! I was lucky enough to enjoy a take away bowl of Beef pho. Served with generous herbs and sprouts to add to my taste, it came with a wonderful and complex broth, top shelf beef slices, and made for one of the best Pho I’ve had in Brisbane !

Definitely front of the pack in West End .

Bonus points for the hand made dim sim that were posted to Instagram as a special. Special indeed - light in texture, spiced with confidence and almost bursting out of its delicate, slippery skin .

Ordered a 5 ingredient juice $7 and a Vietnamese pancake. Both were pretty flavourless and sad and the omelette/pancake is a different price to that on the inside and outside menu $11 and on the blackboard on the wall inside $13. The pancake had hardly any meat and I asked for chilli on the side which, I don’t think I received as well as the undercover area outside leaks quite badly with VERY little rainfall. Really excited to see this place pop up! Their tofu banh mi (vegan) had some really tasty fillings (especially the chilli and mint) and the bread was OK too. However, compared to banh mi elsewhere the filling is quite light on and so eating it feels like mostly bread. You probably get double the tofu and other vegetables at some other places vs what you currently get at Romeo's. Very promising if their portions increase. I'd probably skip the margarine next time too, though the taste of it might not be so obvious if there was...
