We recently had the pleasure of dining at Farah restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Specializing in Persian cuisine, this restaurant truly stands out for its flavorful dishes and warm ambience. The food was nothing short of amazing. Every dish was bursting with rich, authentic flavours that transported me straight to Iran. The kebabs were perfectly grilled, tender, and juicy, while the saffron rice was fragrant and cooked to perfection. The variety of appetizers, including the creamy hummus, Kashk Bademjan and Mirza Ghasemi were delightful and set the stage for the feast that followed. What truly stole the show, however, were the desserts. The Persian ice cream, with its distinct rose water, Saffron and pistachio notes, was absolutely divine. It was creamy, refreshing, and unlike any ice cream I've had before. The baklava was another highlight, with its layers of crispy phyllo dough, sweet honey, and crunchy nuts, creating a heavenly combination. Overall, Farrah restaurant offers an incredible dining experience with delicious food, especially their desserts and ice cream. If you're looking for an authentic taste of Persian cuisine, this place is a must-visit.

It wasn't a plan of mine to stop here for dinner on a Sunday evening, and while it wasn't a mind blowing experience, I'm glad I did. The food was good, even if a little one dimensional. It is traditional food (or at least it tries to be). The photos show 3 main meals (and an entree of dips and bread) of which we only ordered 2 mains. One was delivered incorrectly (and yes I did take a photo of it... Lucky that's all I did to it) , and when brought to their attention, was changed over fairly quickly and apologetically. After spending five minutes on our table however, it was then taken to someone else's table. I know if that meal was mine, I would have doubts about eating it, that's for sure. Anyway, bread was hard and dry (lucky for the dips which were tasty) and a dip on a mains plate wouldn't go astray with so much rice and very little else. Not sure of the value for money either, with the mains at just over $30 each for (as the pictures show) a lot of rice, a couple of skewers and a charred tomato Was good, glad I tried it, but not something I would go back for again (I don't think).

I went back to Farah restruant after 2 years and took my boss from work to try persian food for the first time. Once more Farah restruant stepped up and made it a magical experience. Narrisa the waitress was on her game and really helped with taking our orders to allowing us to park behind the shop as I have a disability. Thanks again for everything hopefully we will be back sooner. ā‰ˆ============================= Farah Restaurant!!! THANK YOU!!! for restoring my confidence in Persian food in Queensland. The food was amazing did not take long was cooked properly we got all we wanted and even my 3-year-olds needs were met. The Kebab was Fresh juicy and just break in your mouth delicious The Gourmeh Sabzi was tender tasty and what made it work was they did not loose the quality of the food it was the right temperature even the freshly cooked fries for my daughter was perfect I wanted to eat it as well. If you are in Brisbane City this is place to go. Make sure you call and make a booking they are always busy for good reason. QQ= Quality and Quantity= 100% Perfect service!!!

I recently dined at an Iranian restaurant that left me with mixed feelings. Let me break down my experience:

Brilliant Location: The restaurant is situated in a prime location, which adds to its charm. It's easily accessible and has a warm, inviting ambiance. The decor reflects a touch of Iranian culture, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. Delicious Food: The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food. The menu offered a variety of traditional Iranian dishes, each bursting with flavors. The kebabs were tender and perfectly seasoned, and the saffron-infused rice was a delight. The use of fresh herbs and spices showcased the authenticity of the cuisine. Delicious Desserts: For dessert, we indulged in a range of Iranian sweets. The rosewater-scented baklava and creamy saffron ice cream were heavenly. The desserts were not overly sweet, allowing the delicate flavors to shine through. However, there was one major downside:

Small Portions: Despite the exquisite taste, the portion sizes were disappointingly small. It left us craving for more, especially given the prices on the menu. This aspect marred an otherwise exceptional dining experience. While quality often trumps quantity, diners would appreciate more generous portions. In conclusion, this Iranian restaurant has a lot to offer in terms of location and the quality of its cuisine. The flavors are authentic and delightful, and the dessert selection is a must-try. However, the drawback of small portion sizes could leave patrons feeling unsatisfied, and it's an area the restaurant could improve upon to ensure a more complete...

We recently had the pleasure of visiting Farah restaurant on a public holiday, and I have to say, it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, I was greeted with the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant, which was decorated with traditional Persian decor and provided a cozy and comfortable setting for my meal. We saw some families friends after a while which helped us to be happier. The menu at this restaurant was extensive and offered a wide variety of delicious Persian dishes to choose from, including traditional favourites like kebabs and stews, as well as more unique and exotic options like eggplant and walnut dip. We decided to try the Chelo Gardan, Vaziri kebab, and Bonab kebab, cooked to perfection and served with flavorful saffron rice. It was delicious, and I couldn't help but clean my plate. The service at this restaurant was also top-notch. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, and they made sure that my experience was enjoyable from start to finish. They were also very accommodating with the customers and took their time to explain any dish that was more freshly cooked to have a better ā€œoven-to-plateā€ experience (and they were really good). We also tested Baqlava and Faloudeh as deserts and really enjoyed their taste. Overall, I highly recommend this Persian restaurant to anyone looking for a tasty and authentic meal. It's definitely worth a visit, and I can't wait to go back and try more of their...

I recently had the immense pleasure of dining at Ali’s Persian restaurant, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we stepped in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home.

The menu is a delightful journey through Persian cuisine, featuring a variety of authentic dishes that showcase the rich flavors and culinary traditions of Iran. I highly recommend trying the kebabs—they are perfectly grilled and bursting with flavor. The saffron rice is a must-have, and the variety of appetizers, including the fresh herbs and dips, set the tone for a fantastic meal.

I had the honor of sharing this dining experience with friends and family, including the Kenyan high commissioner, and everyone was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and the exceptional service. Ali and his team go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels special, making the dining experience not just a meal but a true celebration of culture and hospitality.

If you’re looking for a place that offers delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding service, look no further than Ali’s Persian restaurant. I can’t wait to return for another round of...
