Most of our recent family outings to the city have featured a visit to Gelatissimo. This time the boy chose the Biscoff flavour cos he thought it said biscuit, or maybe because he saw the Lotus Biscoff biscuit. I was like no it doesn't say biscuit and since you picked it you're going to eat it whether or not you like it. Turns out there were actually bits of biscuit pieces in the gelato, and we were fighting to have the last mouthful 😆 The Biscoff is a buttery cinnamon biscuit gelato inspired by Belgium's famed Lotus Biscoff cookie butter spread, and features crunchy pieces of Lotus Biscoff biscuits. I'm trying to remember whether I've ever had a Biscoff biscuit cos the name is rather unfamiliar to me. I probably have ages ago but never realised or remembered the name. No matter, for I'm going to remember it now cos I like it - thanks son for the choice pick!

They thoughtfully include the calorie count. The mint chocolate and raspberry flavors are quite tasty. Australian mint chocolate is always delicious. The price for 2 scoops plus a cone is about A$9.5. If you choose the rainbow cone, be careful with your teeth while eating it; the small candy beads on top can get stuck.

Gelatissimo is in the center of the CBD! The place is small, but it has several flavors of ice cream, you can also add nuts or candy for an extra 1 dollar. In addition, you have the option of ordering your ice cream in a cup, normal cone, chocolate cone or cone with colored sparks. They have a couple of vegan options, such as "triple chocolate" or the typical fruit sorbets. In case you don't want to eat ice cream, they have shakes, for example milkshake (2 scoops), thick shake (3 scoops) and super shake (4 scoops). My ice cream was delicious however my partner got a hair in his ice cream :( There is only the takeaway option

I was there with my 4year old boy. There were 4 girls in front of us in the shop and we stood behind them. We waited in the line and when it came to our turn, a boy supposed to serve us walked away and started to serve other people just coming in - he said whose next so I raised my hand but he ignored us. He started to serve an old women who came after us followed by a boy in his 20s. They both knew we came first but they cut into the line to be served. We were in the ice cream shop! Not in a club late at night. It needs to be more organised and be a better experience especially when children are around?!

I had to complain to a lady who served us who then helped us. Until I spoke out other people kept trying to cut into the line and the staff there were just onto whoever calls out?!?

Is this real what adults do in front of 4 years old in the centre of the Brisbane city? I am now feeling do disgusted. And the fact that the staff there were allowing them made me to write this review. I am sure the guy intentionally ignored us. Check the camera footage.

Do something about the waiting line and the staff?

We were there around 2pm. You would have the security...

STILL HAVE NOT HEARD ANYTHING BACK AFTER 2 WEEK: WE WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS LOCATION. Me and my partner went to the Brisbane location last night for an ice cream, the new biscoff flavour was so good, we were having a great date night out and fancied an ice cream on our way home after dinner, which was suddenly ruined by possibly the worst customer service we have ever had! After thanking the two workers for the ice cream, upon paying I asked the male employee why my bill was 50c extra, which he explained and said it was the deluxe flavour I had which I smiled and said ok thanks, then his exact words to me and my partner were “now can you get out so I can go home” we were appalled and even the female employee looked like she was embarrassed, we didn’t realise it was closing time and they obviously didn’t have to serve us if it...
