June’s Cafe is such a special little gem in the neighbourhood! June and everyone behind the counter are the friendliest you’ll meet—always greeting the customers , new or regulars, with warmest smiles and uplifting vibes that brighten my day. Their coffee is consistently perfect, and the food selection never disappoints. Their selection of sandwiches is fantastic—always fresh, flavourful, and absolutely delicious! And the real standout is their matcha latte—hands down the best on this side of the city, and that’s coming from a matcha connoisseur like me! It’s become my personal sanctuary, the perfect spot to step away from my desk and recharge during WFH days. It’s more than just a cafe—it feels like a little slice of home. Customer service at its absolute best!

If you’re looking for a café that feels like home, June’s Café is that place. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted like family — not just as a customer. The team genuinely cares, and that warmth sets the tone for every visit. The food is consistently fantastic — fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with love. Whether it’s breakfast, brunch, or a quick bite, everything that comes out of the kitchen is flawless. And the coffee? Campos perfection. Smooth, rich, and expertly made every single time. It’s honestly some of the best coffee you’ll find anywhere. June’s Café is more than just a local spot at East Brisbane — it’s a community favourite, a daily ritual, and a place you look forward to visiting. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Going on my fourth trip back to this spot and it is definitely worth a visit. They have great cafe menu offerings, my two favourites being their Special Croissant (this can be a deal with a coffee which is an added bonus), and their chicken avocado wrap. This wrap was the first thing I ate after 16 hours of travelling across the pacific, and it was a life saver, as well as the superior Australia coffee. The staff are ALWAYS friendly and smiling. My mum is a chai connoisseur of sorts and says that June’s chai never disappoints (and she’s picky). There is a few car parks nearby, but it is also accessible via public transport, and is nearby to a few other shops and venues. Overall, great place, great food, great coffee, will be back.

I went and ordered a WARM skinny flat white.

When recieved it was hot I could feel it through the cup how hot it was.

I walked up and politely said "could I please have some cold milk in this its still a bit hot"

Expecting a sure thing in response.

But got "next time tell us to do it warm"said in a disgruntled manner.

Which I replied that I did.

And again talked back with "well we do warm at 50 degrees. So ask for it at 40" again in her disgruntled tone.

I'm never been there and this should have been communicated with me while ordering But the talking back tone to a politely asked question was not ok. Yesterday it was so hot that it tasted burnt. So they obviously don't know brewing temperature.

I don't recommend this place. Go over the road next to the IGA. Get a coffee there and walk into the iga and get a breakfast sandwich. Save yourself some $10+ money.

Ps a large coffee with 3 shots should not cost over $6. And the food is higher priced than the airport...
