Jungle Tiki Bar, West End, Brisbane — Restaurant in Brisbane City

My buddy Josh takes us on adventures ALL the time and I've gotta say--this one turned out SPECTACULARLY. Will was emailing us back and forth, letting us know about hours and what to expect when we got there after work. When we arrived, he knew EXACTLY who we were and welcomed us warmly into what I can call the dive-iest tiki bar I've ever patronized. And it was BRILLIANT. The connections, the laughs, the beverages, the VIBES. It's THIS kind of spirit that makes tiki culture so specific and delicious. Beau was our hippy philosopher and I'll be SO honest: I wasn't prepared for the REAL connection and wisdom he was there to distribute. What an absolute LEGEND. Colossal heart, wise mind, and a rocker's soul. I'm a HUGE fan. And that giant ginger on the end? Jimmy? He was our quiet riot. He kept us in libation and one-liners all night LONG. In all honestly I’m a total wh*re for the wonderful Tiki Bars we have in SoCal. They’re my favorite indulgence. Traveling abroad to Brisbane for the first time I knew I had to check this place out…not only was it recommended by the tiki aficionado groups on social media (Yeah, we’re that kind of weird), but it’s absolute perfection with a hint of Tiki-Ti mixed with Tiki-No. What I mean to say is this place is really freaking good…coming from something of a “tiki snob”, and their garnish game is excellent!...

This bar is a must go to spot in westend! Staff are lovely, service is always with a smile. Pricing is good for the cocktails, probably one of the better value for money spots depending on what drink you buy in westend (my opinion) I always try and go here when im in the area, i recommend you book a seat with them as they are really popular and covid19 restrictions will bite back at you if you haven't booked Pina colada is shown in the photo :) Love it here, thanks for always showing...
