Good people doing an honest job catering to what they can. Slow service with stUberEats. Critical review based on what's on offer. The first bite into the bread satisfies the expectation of what's to come but the substance and flavour missed their appointment. Crusty bread flakes away when I bite into what i anticipate to be moorish satisfaction yet sweet "lemongrass chicken" serves nothing but a conduit for an empty mayonnaise sandwich. Pickled carrot clings to the inside of the rice baguette defended by a sliver of cucumber. The almighty chicken defending the bite with meat falling out of the sandwich. Chilli (requested) no where to be found, pate (as standard) oblivious to existence, coriander so unprepared it's consumed in one bite. I find myself eating a boring chicken mayo sandwich on a half decent crispy roll. Cheap enough without consciousness. THIS ISN'T BAHN MI! Yet still a modern "cheap" bite to satiate urges in such times. It's fine, but would i return unless desperate? You know you can do better. With thanks and maybe I'll see...
Read moreGood banh mi We visited this iconic banh mi outlet for the first time in years and since they changed owners. The banh mi was still good - and very good value at $11 for the crispy roast pork version. The roll seems a little larger than the standard banh offering, however I think that the next time I visit I'll ask them to hold the sauce. I don't like the sweet hoisin flavour and it makes the roll very soggy. By the time we reached the end of the banh mi it had disintegrated and there was liquid dripping out of the bottom of the bag!
5 March 2017 Brisbane's best banh mi We've been coming here for years (before banh mi was trendy) to eat what is probably the best banh mi in Brisbane - crusty baguette spread with pate and filled with lighty pickled carrot, cucumber, fresh coriander, fish sauce, meat and chilli if you wish. It's fresh, full of flavour and very good...

I'm absolutely thrilled to have discovered this hidden gem in West End, Brisbane! Their Banh Mi is, without a doubt, the best I've had in the city. The flavors, textures, and presentation all come together to create a truly unforgettable culinary experience.
I've had the pleasure of trying both the meat and tofu versions, and I must say, both are equally impressive. The meat is tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, while the tofu is crispy, flavorful, and expertly marinated.
What sets this place apart is the clear passion and dedication that goes into crafting each and every Banh Mi. You can taste the love and care in every bite!
If you're a Banh Mi enthusiast like myself, or just looking to try something new, do yourself a favor and head to this amazing spot. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
Highly...
