On night of June 27, 2025, my wife and I were very disappointed with the food at this restaurant. We felt we wasted our money on poor-quality pho and Hue vermicelli. The pho noodles appeared to be made from pre-packaged dry noodles, reminiscent of instant pho, which is unacceptable. The owner should know better than to serve such low-quality noodles instead of fresh-made ones. These dry instant noodles become mushy when overcooked and hard when undercooked, and their taste is nowhere near that of authentic fresh pho strands.

Moreover, the soup tasted like a diluted seasoning mix. I could barely eat three slices of beef and a few meatballs before leaving all of the liquid and unappetizing noodle strands behind. This was one of the worst bowls of pho I have encountered in my 35 years living in Brisbane. It's hard to believe that this restaurant has such a high rating star online; it feels like the reviews may be misleading or fake. They do not deserve their current rating star. Or it might be new owner to manage which runing business by stupid traditional idea: “capital less, profit more”

The location of this restaurant holds great potential, but unfortunately, they use the name "Pho City" for advertising, which is misleading and does not reflect the quality of their offerings. Australia is easily provides access to beef and bones for cheap price for cooking. so I question why they run their...

!!!HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! This place does really good food don’t get me wrong but I’d rather eat at a place with bad food and pleasant customer service than a place with disgusting customer service and good food. My friends and I work not far and we love going on lunch and getting pho together, however every time we have something to say about the rude workers that run the place. On three occasions I’ve seen the main man of the restaurant raise his voice at one of my friends, they charge us for plastic containers when we just spent $14 on Phò and my final experience with this god forsaken business is that he was going to make me spend $15 to be able to purchase on EFTPOS - I eat here all the time!!!! The restaurant it’s self is horrible to look at but it either needs to be shut down or some serious err evaluating needs to be done on their attitude - won’t ever be...

It gets a 4 from me for the food - good, fresh and usually doesn't take too long. I really like the Combination Pho but they really need to not be so stingy and provide 1 lemon wedge each bowl. However, service can be really poor though - I had to wait over 40 minutes for 1 serve of spring rolls. I did chase it up 3 times but the waitress just repeated "Spring Rolls" and went back to the kitchen. She didn't acknowledge me when she came back out. On the third time, she dropped bowls and chopsticks over my shoes (under my chair), didn't apologise or acknowledge me once again and dopily went away. I had to chase up the guy at the counter to help me on the 4th go!...

I was craving for some Pho, and Inala shopping centre is too far to travel and I am hungry. I decided to try this place. The front is like your typical Vietnamese shop that you can see being featured in food shows, it was a slow day so the staff is really fast and friendly. The food is average for me, there's no magic when I tasted the Pho, the soup base is bland, the fried pork chop tsted the same. Although the salad is delish. I understand that they are placed in the heart of CBD that's why it's expensive. But for the price and the taste, I'll not be coming back anytime soon. But thank you to the staff who are friendly and really quick on service. 🙌🏻

Just needed some hot noodles soup. This pho restaurant has many items on their menu. Counter service style. I had a pho dac biet. Fair size and came with fresh basil in it already. Soup base was hot enough, taste on the salty side. Believe it has MSG added. Taste good but drank so much water afterward. Noodles was perfectly cooked. The lady at the counter, believe she was the owner, can come across a little rude. But I take it that was just how she looked and acted. It didn’t affect my mood of having a meal. Overall, a good place in a good location to have a bowl of good phó. Will try other dishes in the future.

Have been here a few times over the years and find it a reasonable option. This visit I tried their pork banh mi: - bigger than another vendor's I tried on the same day - pate is not so obvious but is there - not sure if chilli is an option - wasn’t offered and I didn’t request it - great freshness from the heap of vegetables inside - overall mouth feel ran a little dry - flavour wasn’t as complex as other better banh mis I've had - flavour distribution was also a bit mixed - some mouthfuls tasted more plain, some more savoury - bread roll was pretty good Overall a solid CBD banh mi.
