"A Culinary Gem in Brisbane City - Must Try Asian Fusion Cuisine!" I recently had the pleasure of dining at this hidden gem of a restaurant on Burnett Lane in Brisbane City, and I will say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The Asian fusion cuisine served here is truly exceptional, blending flavors and ingredients in a way that is both innovative and delicious.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is fun and inviting, with a modern street art design that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. Sebastian and his staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of our meal was perfect. They were attentive to the fact we were time conscious as we had to be at a show near by not too long after arriving and they ensured the food came out in a timely manner so that we had plenty of time to get to our next destination.

I highly recommend trying the bao buns, and the crispy pork belly on the menu, as each one was a culinary masterpiece that left me wanting more. From the delicious dumplings to the flavorful stir-fries, every dish was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Dont even get me started on their creative cocktails on offer. AMAZING!

Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience top-notch Asian fusion cuisine in the heart of Brisbane City. I will definitely be returning to sample more of their amazing dishes in the near future. Five stars...

The best Asian fusion street food in Burnett Lane! We we're searching for new food spots in BNE. We always go to our favourite restaurant and definitely this one made it to our list!

First of all the ambiance, it'll give you the Asian "street" food vibe of entertainment district. Love the neon lights and dark walls completing the restaurant.

The servers, we haven't got their names but there's a guy who met us at the front, bar lady for our fantastic drink and awesome chef!

The food is simply amazing, noodles cooked in high heat wok, you can definitely taste the burnt yet delicious.

The bar drinks, kimono lady one of the best, blood flower, of course my beer we cannot forget that!

And the main highlight and absolute favourite, Chef Wabi's Signature dish, whole peking duck it takes 30 mins for prep but its the perfect dish to wait while getting your drinks and other food. The skin is crispy, no funky taste and its perfect with your more than 5pcs of pancake to wrap your duck. Its a bliss! 👌🏼

We will be back and will be bringing some...

Absolutely amazing experience, My god damn partner took me here thinking we were getting TAKE OUT and going back to watch a movie … when he wanted to dine in!! I came in my pjs!! And then man convinced me to still sit down and I did and I’m glad I did service and food was amazing (I will admit one girl can’t speak or understand English but she does a good job of hiding it I asked who the NZ man was so I could leave a good review she said she would talk to the boss .. my partner laughed and said you know she ain’t going to do that right she doesn’t understand English but still a good waitress 😂) Sebastian even knew I over ordered and before I even asked for a take away container it was given !! Amazing art work even! Found out his the owner and so Sorry if I’m wrong but I think he is from NZ his name is Sebastian and his honestly amazing loves his customers and his restaurant!! If you want an amazing dine in experience and amazing food this is the place to go! ( and trust me I ordered everything on...

Mr Wabi is a wonderful place down a street alleyway. Came here for dinner with four people for Asian fusion. We were seated at a booth. The atmosphere is excellent, the music not too loud so to be able to talk. The pink neon lights were an excellent addition to the beautiful street art that decorated the walls. The food was also excellent, if you are with a group of people that do not know what to eat everyone will be delighted by the wide arrange of choice at Mr Wabi. I had the bao buns which in my opinion are the best bao buns I have ever had. Along with the buns I also had the fried rice which also exceeded my expectations by the amount of bursting flavour and succulent texture. The service was top notch with the staff being amiable and food coming out fast. This was surprising as it was quite busy. Overall, if you are looking to try the best Asian fusion restaurant in Brisbane for a group of people, Mr Wabi will definitely satisfy your palate.

Service was friendly and prompt. We got our meals quickly. The menu is varied with gluten free, dairy free and vegan options which is great. The sweet and sour pork was amazing, the strawberries made the dish! The beef in the beef and black bean was so tender. My only criticism with both dishes is that It would have been nice to have a few different veggies. The dishes only had capsicum (three different colours), onion and celery. Some carrot, baby corn or bok choy would have been great. The satay chicken skewers were INCREDIBLE. I wish they had a dish with the satay sauce, with chicken and veg. I would have loveeeeed that sauce in a dish, it was that good. The dessert we ordered was really grim. There was no sponge, no berry compote. It was literally just a scoop of ice cream with crumb in a puddle of cream. The fairy floss was nice but overall, a disappointing dish and not worth $17 😭
